Provided is a peptide, which has an anti-inflammatory activity and an activity for promoting osteogenic differentiation, formed from the amino acid sequence selected from the group comprising the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2, and SEQ ID NO: 3. And provided is a peptide, which has a hair growth promoting activity, formed from the amino acid sequence selected from the group comprising the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO: 1 and SEQ ID NO: 2. A peptide formed from the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2, or SEQ ID NO: 3, according to the present invention, consequently shows an anti-inflammatory activity by inhibiting an inflammatory cytokine expression and proliferation of inflammatory cells, and consequently promotes osteogenic differentiation by increasing phosphorylation of PI3K, Smad1, Smad5 and Smad8, which contribute to osteogenesis, and by increasing ALP, OPG and BSP expressions. And a peptide formed from the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 or SEQ ID NO: 2, according to the present invention, consequently shows efficacy for preventing hair loss and promoting hair growth by promoting proliferation of hair follicle cells and human umbilical vein endothelial cells, increasing phosphorylation of EPK, increasing expressions of PI3K, &#x3b2;-catenin, IGF-1, KGF and Wnt3a which are proteins that contribute to hair growth, and reducing an expression of DKK-1 which is a hairless gene.

Peptide having anti-inflammatory, osteogenic and hair growth promoting activities, and use of same

A peptide formed from the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 or SEQ ID NO: 2 shows a melanogenesis increment activity and an adipogenesis inhibitory activity. The peptide, by increasing phosphorylation of MITF, which is a transcription factor for increasing a tyrosinase expression, and CREB for increasing an MITF expression, consequently increases a tyrosinase expression and ultimately increases melanin synthesis. The present invention relates to a GFP-CAP peptide having an amino acid sequence derived from TGF-&#x3b2;1 (transforming growth factor-&#x3b2;1) and a cell adhesion sequence, wherein the amino acid sequence derived from TGF-&#x3b2;1 consists of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:1 and the TGFP-CAP peptide is represented by the following formula I: Ile-Trp-Ser-Leu-Asp-Thr-Gln-Tyr-Cell adhesion sequence (I). The TGFP-CAP peptide of the present invention exhibits excellent anti-angiogenic activity. In addition, the TGFP-CAP peptide of the present invention prevents effectively melanin generation in skin to have skin whitening effects. The present peptide shows much higher stability and permeability to skin than natural-occurring TGF-&#x3b2;1. Such plausible activities and safety of the present peptide enable advantageously to application to drugs, quasi-drugs and cosmetics.

TGFP-CAP peptide and its uses

Disclosed are a noggin-derived peptide and a composition containing the same for promoting hair growth, improving skin conditions, providing anti-inflammatory function, or preventing or treating bone diseases. The disclosed noggin-derived peptide performs a function identical or similar to that of natural human noggin and is superior in stability and skin permeability as compared thereto. The composition containing the peptide of the present disclosure as an active ingredient exhibits remarkably superior effects in treating, preventing or improving growth factor-related symptoms, e.g. hair loss, skin conditions or cut, or treating, preventing or improving growth factor overexpression-related symptoms. Therefore, the superior activity and stability of the peptide of the present disclosure are greatly advantageous in application to medicine, quasi-drugs and cosmetics.

Noggin-derived peptide and use thereof

The present invention relates to a WNT10-derived peptide, a composition for improving hair loss and skin conditions using the same, and a composition for treating a WNT10 signal transduction pathway-related disorder and DKK-1 protein-induced disorder the same. WNT10-derived peptide of the present invention possesses identical or similar activities to natural-occurring WNT10, and has much higher stability and skin penetration potency than natural-occurring WNT10. Therefore, the composition containing the present peptide not only shows excellent effects on improvement in hair loss (for example, promotion of hair growth or production of hair), but also has superior efficacies on treatment of a WNT10 signal transduction pathway-related disorder and a DKK-1 protein-induced disorder. In addition, the outstanding activity and stability of the present peptide described above may be greatly advantageous in application to pharmaceutical compositions, quasi-drugs and cosmetics.
