An organic light emitting display device and a method of fabricating the same are provided. The organic light emitting display device includes a substrate having first, second and third pixel regions, and an upper substrate facing the substrate. The thicknesses of regions of the upper substrate respectively facing the first, second and third pixel regions are different from each other. The thicknesses of the regions of the upper substrate facing the pixel regions are formed different from each other, such that the organic light emitting display device having an optimal or improved optical resonance structure can be provided.

Organic light emitting display device and method of fabricating the same

In a thin film transistor and a flat panel display device having the same, cross-talk is minimized. The flat panel display device includes a substrate, a first thin film transistor, a second thin film transistor, and a display element. The first thin film transistor includes: a first gate electrode formed on the substrate; a first electrode insulated from the first gate electrode; a second electrode insulated from the first gate electrode and surrounding the first electrode in the same plane; and a first semiconductor layer insulated from the first gate electrode and contacting the first electrode and the second electrode. The second thin film transistor includes: a second gate electrode formed on the substrate and electrically connected to one of the first electrode and the second electrode; a third electrode insulated from the second gate electrode; a fourth electrode insulated from the second gate electrode and surrounding the third electrode in the same plane; and a second semiconductor layer insulated from the second gate electrode and contacting the third electrode and the fourth electrode.

Thin film transistor and flat panel display device comprising the same

Provided are an organic thin film transistor (TFT), which can prevent deformation or separation due to mechanical stress, and a flat panel display device including the organic TFT. The organic TFT includes a gate electrode; a source electrode and drain electrodes insulated from the gate electrode; an organic semiconductor layer insulated from the gate electrode, and contacting the source electrode and the drain electrodes; and a gate insulating layer insulating the gate electrode from the source electrode, the drain electrode, and the organic semiconductor layer. The gate insulating layer may be patterned in an island shape to permit adjacent portions of the substrate to flex freely, thereby reducing stress and deformation of the organic TFT and its component layers.

Organic thin film transistor and flat panel display device including the same

An organic electro luminescence display comprises a pixel portion on which a plurality of pixels are arranged with a first electrode, a second electrode, and an organic thin film layer interposed between the first and second electrodes, a first power line supplying a first level voltage to the pixels of the pixel portion; and a second power line having at least a region overlapped with the second electrode to supply a second level voltage to the second electrode, and an insulating layer having a plurality of contact holes in the overlapped region between the second power line and the second electrode. The sum of the circumferences of each contact hole is greater than the circumference of the overlapped region.

A flat display device including a display region disposed between a substrate and a sealing substrate that are coupled together by a sealing member, an electrical element that is electrically coupled with the display region, and at least one reinforcing member that increases the strength of a region where it is located. The reinforcing member is mounted at at least one side of the electrical element.

Flat display device

The invention is directed to an improved organic electroluminescent device. In one embodiment, the OLED includes a thin film transistor formed in a non-emission region on an insulating substrate that also includes source and drain electrodes. The OLED further includes a lower electrode formed in an emission region on the insulating substrate and connected to one electrode of the source/drain electrodes through a contact hole. The OLED yet further includes an organic emission layer formed in the emission region on the lower electrode, and an upper electrode formed on the organic emission layer, wherein the lower electrode has a surface with its corners rounded off. The lower electrode acts as a pixel electrode. Having its surface with corners rounded off prevents short-induced defects caused by outgassing.
