An inkjet printing apparatus includes an inkjet head that moves in a main scanning direction at the time of printing; a filter chamber provided on a path for supplying ink to a nozzle hole (nozzle) in the inkjet head; and a spherical body placed on a head filter in the filter chamber. The spherical body has a diameter φ larger than the mesh of the head filter. The spherical body is disposed on the head filter so as to be rollable by the movement of the inkjet head.

Inkjet printing apparatus

Provided is an apparatus for manufacturing a three-dimensional object that may allow a support material to land on a table before a modeling material irrespective of the moving direction of a carriage. The apparatus includes a modeling material head that ejects an ink for object shaping, support material heads that eject an ink for supporting the three-dimensional object, color ink heads that eject color inks, curing units for curing the ejected inks, and a flattening roller unit with a flattening roller used to flatten surfaces of the ejected inks. In the apparatus, one of the curing units, the flattening roller unit, one of the support material heads, the modeling material head, the color ink heads, the other support material head, and the other curing unit are arranged and mounted in the carriage in the mentioned order from one side to the other in the main scanning direction.

A liquid ejection device that ejects an ultraviolet-curable liquid includes an inkjet head, which is an ejection head that ejects the ultraviolet-curable liquid; a scanning driver that causes the inkjet head to perform a main scan; an ultraviolet generator; and a light source driver; where the ultraviolet generator irradiates the ultraviolet while moving in the main scanning direction together with the inkjet head; the ultraviolet generator includes a plurality of UV LED elements; the plurality of UV LED elements are arranged such that a light emitting range overlaps a range of the nozzle row in a sub scanning direction; and the light source driver drives the plurality of UV LED elements such that an illuminance at an end portion in the sub scanning direction is larger than an illuminance at a central portion in the light emitting range.

An ink supplying device is provided and supplies a functional ink to a droplet ejecting portion, including: a tube body through which the functional ink passes; a degasser that removes a dissolved gas from the functional ink; a first supply path in which the degasser is fitted to the tube body; a second supply path in which the degasser is not fitted to the tube body; and a controller that switches a supply path of the functional ink to the second supply path when a viscosity of the functional ink is higher than or equal to a predetermined value, and switches the supply path to the first supply path when the viscosity of the functional ink is lower than the predetermined value. The first supply path and the second supply path are coupled by an upstream side coupling portion and a downstream side coupling portion.
