In a body frame, a pair of left and right main frames extend downward to the rear from the upper portion of a head pipe and a down frame extends downward to the rear from the lower portion of the head pipe, a gusset is provided in the body frame, the gusset being joined to the head pipe, and the gusset includes a center wall portion and lower extension portions, the center wall portion being disposed between inner side wall portions of the left and right main frames, the lower extension portions extending downward from the center wall portion and being joined to outer side surfaces of the down frame.

Body frame of saddle riding vehicle

A saddle-ride-type vehicle having a side cover for enhancing the assembling property and external appearance. In a motorcycle including a side cover which has an upper side cover and a lower side cover in a state where an end portion of the upper side cover and an end portion of the lower side cover overlap with each other, the side cover has a joining portion formed by making the upper side cover overlap with an outer side of the lower side cover. A holding portion is formed by making the lower side cover overlap with an outer side of the upper side cover. A fixing portion is provided where the upper side cover and the lower side cover are made to overlap with each other in the same overlapping state as the joining portion is disposed in the vicinity of the joining portion.

Saddle-ride-type vehicle

A straddle-type vehicle capable of restricting input of a load from a fastening member, which joins multiple tank covers to each other, to the surface of a fuel tank. A fastening member designed to join a first tank cover and a second tank cover together is disposed to face the surface of a fuel tank and at least one of the first tank cover. The second tank cover has a convex portion facing the surface of the fuel tank at a position near the fastening member.

Straddle-type vehicle

A saddle-ride-type vehicle includes a vehicle body lower portion protective member for increasing the rigidity thereof and for protecting a vehicle body frame. A saddle-ride type vehicle includes a head pipe and a pair of left and right lower frames extending from the head pipe for supporting an engine. An engine guard extends from an area in front of the engine to an area below the engine. The engine guard includes an engine protective portion for covering the engine and a frame protective portion for protecting the lower frame. The engine protective portion and the frame protective portion are disposed with a step formed therebetween.

A saddle riding type vehicle, includes a frame including a head pipe and a pair of left and right main frames extending rearward and downward from the head pip, a fuel tank supported between the left and right main frames, a radiator; and a radiator shroud structure. The shroud structure includes shrouds covering lateral sides of the radiator and shroud fastening portions fixed to outer side walls of the left and right main frames so that upper portions of the shrouds are arranged in covering relation along outer faces of the outer side walls of the main frames, and lower portions of the shrouds extend downward from the upper portions of the shrouds and are connected to the radiator.

Radiator shroud structure for saddle riding type vehicle

A saddle-ride vehicle includes a vehicle-body frame, an engine, a seat, a storage box, a box lid, a box-side locking mechanism, a filler lid, a filler-side locking mechanism, an unlocking mechanism, a box-side cable, and a filler-side cable. The unlocking mechanism includes a key cylinder which is key-operated. The unlocking mechanism is disposed between a head pipe and the storage box. The box-side cable is connected to the key cylinder. The box-side cable is to be caused to unlock a lock of the box-side locking mechanism by turning a key in one of a clockwise direction and a counterclockwise direction. The filler-side cable is connected to the key cylinder. The filler-side cable is to be caused to unlock a lock of the filler-side locking mechanism by turning the key in another of the clockwise direction and the counterclockwise direction.

Saddle-ride vehicle

A fuel supply apparatus or fuel pump unit includes a lower case having a flange plate fixed to a fuel tank and upstanding walls extending into the fuel tank. An upper case housing a fuel pump therein is provided that includes brackets disposed along inner sides of the upstanding walls. The upstanding walls having engaging holes defined therein, and the brackets having attachment members engaging in the engaging holes. The brackets include tongues projecting heightwise beyond the upstanding walls.

Fuel supply apparatus

A steering unit for a small watercraft, which can positively prevent jolting of a steering shaft relative to a bearing section for allowing smooth rotation of the steering shaft, and makes for improving the installing characteristic of the steering shaft and a collar into the bearing section. A steering shaft is rotatably supported with respect to a watercraft body through a cylindrical bearing section in which the steering shaft is inserted. A plurality of ribs are provided around an inner surface of the cylindrical bearing section and extend in an axial direction of the steering shaft. The steering shaft is rotatably supported by the bearing section with a collar, formed from an elastic material, being provided interposedly between the ribs and an outer surface of the steering shaft. The cylindrical bearing section includes at least three or more ribs are provided.

Steering unit for small watercraft

A tool storage structure of a saddle-ride type small boat capable of reducing the number of parts while suppressing noise generation. In a saddle-ride type small boat driven by an occupant who straddles the seat formed of a front seat and a rear seat on the boat body, a frame of the rear seat includes an insertion portion to be inserted into the rear lower portion of the front seat. The insertion portion is integrally provided with the tool storage portion for storing tools. The number of parts needed to form the tool storage portion is reduced and noise generation is suppressed.
