A cosmetic container for retaining and dispensing a cosmetic material is provided. The cosmetic container includes a first portion including an applicator, a second portion releasably coupled to the first portion and configured to move between a first position in which the applicator is exposed and a second position in which the applicator is concealed and a mirrored element coupled to the first portion. The mirrored element is positionable behind the applicator when the second portion is moved to the first position to assist a user in applying the cosmetic material.

Cosmetic container with mirrored element

A container for supporting and dispensing a liquid material is disclosed. The container includes a base defining a cavity for supporting a liquid material and an applicator (e.g., a roller ball, etc.) movably supported at the base for allowing a user to selectively dispense the liquid material from the cavity. The applicator has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is configured to be exposed to the liquid material when the second portion is exposed to the user. The container also includes a cover coupled to the base for covering the applicator. The cover is selectively movable between a closed position and an open position. The applicator is configured to be manipulated by user in a manner that allows the first portion to become exposed to the user and the second portion to become exposed to the liquid material.

Compact container for liquid cosmetic

A cosmetic container for retaining and dispensing a cosmetic material is provided. The container includes a body including a first portion and a second portion that are pivotally coupled together, an applicator coupled to the second portion and a mirrored element pivotally coupled to the first portion. The mirrored element is moveable between a retracted position and an extended position. The mirrored element has a reflective surface that is positionable behind the applicator when the mirrored element is in the extended position and may define an outer periphery of the body when the mirrored element is in the retracted position.

Cosmetic container

A container for supporting particulate matter is provided. The container includes a base providing a chamber configured to receive particulate matter and a cover coupled to the base and movable relative to the base between a closed position and an open position. The container also includes a sifter supported at the base. The sifter includes a first member having at least one dispensing aperture extending therethrough and a second member having at least one dispensing aperture extending therethrough. The second member is movable between a first position in which the at one dispensing aperture of the first member is at least partially out of alignment with the at least one dispensing aperture of the second member and a second position in which the at one dispensing aperture of the first member is in greater alignment with the at least one dispensing aperture of the second member. The sifter also includes a biasing element coupled to the second member for moving the second member relative to the first member from the first position to the second position when the cover is moved to the open position.

Sifter device for container

A cosmetic compact configured to hold a loose powder is provided. The cosmetic compact includes a base, a cover, a sifter and an applicator. The cover is coupled to the base and pivotable between an open position and a closed open position. The sifter is supported at the base to provide a chamber configured to receive the loose powder. The sifter has a platform defining at least one dispensing aperture. The applicator is compressed between the cover and the sifter when the cover is in the closed position. The compressed applicator is configured to restrict the loose powder from substantially exiting the chamber.

Loose powder compact

A case for storing a cosmetic is provided. The case has a base with a first latch portion and configured to support the cosmetic, a cover securable to the base and having a second latch portion, and an applicator for applying the cosmetic and having a third latch portion. The third latch portion engages the first latch portion and the second latch portion to secure the cover to the base when the case is in a closed position.

Interlocking container

A container for selectively dispensing a particulate matter, such as a cosmetic loose powder, is provided. The container includes a base having an opening and configured to hold particulate matter, a cover overlying the opening, and a sifter mechanism coupled to the container and movable between a first position and a second position. The sifter mechanism moves between the first position and the second position in response to movement of the cover.

A clamp, such as a resilient clamp, is characterized by a pair of elongated members each having a force applying end and an opposed working end. The members are resiliently interconnected by a plurality of substantially arcuately-shaped bands in a region of the members intermediate the working ends and the force applying ends, defining a bight facing the working ends.
