Using an authentication server to discover one or more additional authentication servers and to dynamically establish a trust relationship with the one or more additional authentication servers. The authentication server searches for the one or more additional authentication servers to discover one or more sources of authentication tokens, and inspects an incoming authentication request from the one or more additional authentication servers to determine if the request is carrying one or more authentication tokens from a newly discovered realm. Once the authentication server determines a newly discovered realm to be trustworthy, the authentication server receives a directory schema from the newly discovered realm and compares the received directory schema with a known directory schema retrieved by the authentication server to identify an intersection of the received directory schema and the known directory schema. The authentication server uses the intersection to identify a primary key, and to identify any unique information that is specific to either the authentication server or the newly discovered realm.

Methods, devices, and computer program products for discovering authentication servers and establishing trust relationships therewith

A method, system, and computer program product for in-band communication with virtual machines via a hypervisor message bus are provided. The method includes establishing communication between a hypervisor and a plurality of virtual machines via a hypervisor message bus, where the hypervisor manages resources in a shared system. The method further includes transmitting a message from the hypervisor to the virtual machines using the hypervisor message bus. The method also includes translating the message within the virtual machines into a display-formatted message for in-band display on one or more user systems, and relaying the display-formatted message from the virtual machines to the one or more user systems to provide in-band communication of the message to one or more users.

A method, system and apparatus for autonomically configuring a user interface. The system can include at least one widget programmed to be disposed in the user interface. The widget can include a dynamically configurable presentation field. Additionally, the system can include a policy defined by one or more business rules for configuring the widget in the user interface based upon a context provided by the widget. Finally, the system can include a rules engine configured to process the business rules. Notably, the widget can be a widget configured to be disposed in a markup language document. The business rules which define the policy of the present invention can include a multiplicity of rules which both define and constrain the level of complexity of user interface widgets in the user interface.
