A wearable sensor device includes a liquid metal wire that includes an elongated tube with an internal cavity having a uniform cross-sectional geometry, the internal cavity is at least partially filled with liquid metal. The wearable sensor device further includes detection circuitry to detect a change in an electrical attribute of the liquid metal wire based on a temporary change in the cross-sectional geometry, and generate sensor data to identify an event associated with a wearer of the wearable device based on the temporary change in the cross-sectional geometry.

Fluidic wire sensors

A connector to connect to a liquid metal wire includes a hollow conduit configured to connect to a tubular wire casing, and further includes a reservoir including a solid metal conductor. The reservoir is to receive liquid metal to substantially fill a volume of the reservoir such that the liquid metal extends into the tubular wire casing. The tubular wire casing, filled with the liquid metal, becomes the liquid metal wire.

Fluidic wire connectors

A touch sensor is provided which includes one or more liquid metal wires and detection circuitry to detect a change in an electrical attribute of the one or more liquid metal cavities based on a depression of the one or more liquid metal cavities, and indicate a touch event corresponding to the depression of the one or more liquid metal cavities based on the change in the electrical attribute.

Fluidic wire touch sensors

A sensor for determining liquid level in a liquid reservoir can include a primary inductor and a secondary inductor to be associated with sides of the reservoir that changes shape as a volume of liquid changes or is displaced within the liquid reservoir. The sensor can include an electrical power source to inductively couple the primary inductor and the secondary inductor. The liquid level sensor can include an inductive coupling measurement device associated with the primary inductor and/or the secondary inductor to measure a characteristic indicative of the inductive coupling of the primary inductor and the secondary inductor (e.g., a distance between inductors). As liquid volume changes and the reservoir deforms, the inductors move relative to each other and a voltage change occurs to determine a liquid level in the reservoir. A sensor kit is provided.
