Cap for a pouch

A spout assembly for a flexible bag having a base flange, a body and a dual lead thread. The base flange has a top surface and a bottom surface. At least one of the top surface and the bottom surface are configured for coupling to a flexible bag. The body extends from the base flange and includes a proximal end corresponding to the base flange and a distal end spaced apart therefrom, and, an inner surface and an outer surface. The dual lead thread extends along the outer surface of the body between the proximal end and the distal end. The dual lead thread has a first threadform and a second threadform. The first threadform has a first threadform length. The second threadform has a second threadform length. The length of the first threadform is different than that of the second threadform.

A barrier spout is comprised of a straw and a sealboat. The straw comprises a body having a first straw portion and a second straw portion, with an upper opening of the straw at a first end of the first straw portion and a lower opening of the straw at a second end of the second straw portion, the first straw portion and the second straw portion meeting at a second end of the first straw portion and a first end of the second straw portion. The straw is comprised of a barrier material to minimize at least one of oxygen and vapor transmission through the barrier material. The sealboat comprises a sealing material, the sealboat contacting an inner surface of the sealboat forming a liquid seal between the straw and the sealboat.

Barrier spout

A spout for use with a flexible bag and a flexible bag having a spout. The spout includes a threadform that extends about the outer surface. The threadform includes opposing threadforms that are of different configurations. Additionally, the insert member includes a poppet and a spring member to maintain the poppet in a configuration that precludes the passage of fluid therethrough.

A cap for a pouch including a spout engaging body, a handle member and a multimode handle coupling assembly. The spout engaging body includes a depending skirt defining a central bore configured to engage a spout. The handle member extends from the spout engaging body. The multimode handle coupling assembly includes at least one handle tab formed into the handle member and at least one mode three slot. The at least one mode three slot includes a multi direction slot defined in the handle member having a central opening and a plurality of radial slot portion pairs, to, in turn, sized to receive a handle tab of another cap in a plurality of orientations.

A connector apparatus including a body, a fluid supply connection subassembly and a docking station connection subassembly. The body defines a fluid passageway including a first passageway portion and a second passageway portion generally perpendicular to the first passageway portion. The first passageway portion including a first end outlet and the second passageway portion including a second end outlet. The fluid supply connection subassembly is at the first end of the body and includes an elongated probe defined by the first end outlet. The docking station connection subassembly is at the second end of the body and includes an elongated spout defining the second end outlet. The elongated spout extends from a frame including an outside surface and a base rim. The base rim defines a plane with the elongated spout extending therebeyond.

A spout and fitment assembly for a flexible bag. The spout comprises a base flange, a cylindrical upstand and a fitment coupling. The base flange is configured to be coupled to a flexible bag. The cylindrical upstand extends from the base flange. The cylindrical upstand defines a passageway therealong which is placeable in fluid communication with the flexible bag. The fitment coupling extends from the cylindrical upstand between the proximal end and the distal end thereof. The fitment assembly comprises a fitment body and a hose. The hose is coupled to the hose connection portion. The connector portion is sealingly engaged with the fitment coupling so as to place the inner bore in fluid communication with the passageway of the cylindrical upstand.

Flexible bag having a spout and a fitment assembly

A dispensing system which has a dispenser housing assembly, and a bag assembly that fits within the dispensing housing assembly. The bag assembly includes a flexible bag and an integrated spout and valve member. The integrated spout and valve member includes a spout portion which has an annular base flange and a spout body extending therefrom. A valve is positioned within the spout body. The valve including an opening that can be selectively opened to allow the passage of a flowable material from within the flexible bag.
