The present gated barrier includes a visual indicator to show the end user one or more features of the gate barrier such as how to set up the gated barrier, whether the frame of the barrier is true and square, or whether the barrier frame has been set up with sufficient pressure between, for example, two door jambs.

A two part pressurized hand wheel for letting the user know when a gated pressurized barrier has been set up properly. One part of the hand wheel, when turned, begins to cover up a red portion of the second part. When the red portion is completely covered up, such is the signal to the user that the latch of the gated pressurized barrier is properly aligned with the latch receiver of the gated pressurized barrier.

The present bed bumper apparatus includes an elongate body that is resilient and flexible, an inner cover enclosing an entirety of the elongate body such that the elongate body is removable from the inner cover only by destroying an integrity of the inner cover, an outer cover enclosing an entirety of the inner cover having the elongate body, and a flexible strap engaged to the outer cover and having a quick release buckle and length adjuster such that the bed bumper can be engaged to a mattress at an edge of the mattress to minimize a person from rolling off the mattress.
