An improved drop/turn target is easier to construct and operate than existing drop/turn targets. The drop/turn target may be adjusted for wear, and may easily be configured to operate in a variety of different modes. The drop/turn target may also be raised or lowered during operation and may be automatically reset for subsequent use.

Drop turn target

A bullet target configured to improve the skills of a shooter includes, in one embodiment, a head plate which is attached to an arm by a resilient or semi-resilient attachment member to allow the head plate to visually deflect when hit by a bullet and to substantially return to its original position. In another embodiment, the improved target utilizes an attachment mechanism which allows the head to rotate relative to the arm within a stop to minimize transfer of vibrations between the head plate and the arm. In a third embodiment, a plurality of head plates are used in alignment and selectively exposed to the shooter to improve decision making ability.

Target

A portable bullet target configured to improve the skills of a shooter includes, in one embodiment, a shooting plate which is attached to a frame by protrusions integral to the shooting plate to allow the shooting plate to visually deflect when hit by a bullet and to substantially return to its original position. In another embodiment, a foot or feet are attached to the frame to support the target. According to another embodiment, a plurality of portable targets are used in combination and may be attached together.

Portable shooting target

A target system includes a plurality of targets mounted on a center support so that the targets rotate between opposing sides of the center support. Preferably, the targets rotate about an axis which is between 5 and 30 degrees less than vertical, and have faces which are disposed at an angle between 5 and 30 degrees less than vertical.

Dueling tree

A modular target system includes a plurality of targets mounted on a center support so that the targets rotate between opposing sides of the center support. Preferably, the targets rotate about an axis which is between about 5 and 30 degrees less than vertical, and have faces which are disposed at an angle between about 5 and 30 degrees less than vertical.
