The present invention relates to a rooftop exhaust fan that is pivotally mounted to a curb or other support structure and which, in response to pivoting the exhaust fan from a closed position to an inclined open position, the exhaust fan is automatically locked in the inclined open position.

A grease duct assembly is employed in a commercial kitchen. The grease duct assembly includes multiple sections that are connected together and sealed. Each section includes a double wall construction that forms a central conduit and an annular space that extends between an inner wall and an outer wall. Shredded insulation is directed into the annular space and compressed therein.

A contact rail is provided including a module coupling end and a mating end. A diode mounting surface is positioned between the module coupling end and the mating end. A pivot member extends from a base of the module coupling end. The pivot member is configured to be engaged by an elongated tool. A module coupling fastener engages the base of the module coupling end. The elongated tool is configured to engage the module coupling fastener. The elongated tool is configured to pivot about the pivot member to separate the module coupling fastener from the base of the module coupling end so that a contact from a power module is receivable between the base of the module coupling end and the module coupling fastener.

An electrical connector is provided for electrically connecting a junction box of a photovoltaic (PV) module to an electrical cable of a power distribution system. The electrical connector includes a housing extending along a central longitudinal axis from a cable segment to a mating segment. The housing has an intermediate segment that extends between the cable and mating segments. The intermediate segment includes a flange. The housing is configured to be mounted to a frame for the PV module. An electrical contact is held by the housing and is configured to establish an electrical connection between the junction box and the electrical cable. A biasing mechanism extends over the intermediate segment of the housing. The biasing mechanism extends from a flange end to a frame end. The flange end is engaged with the flange of the housing. The frame end is configured to engage the frame such that, when the housing is mounted to the frame, the biasing mechanism extends between and exerts a biasing force on the flange and the frame. The housing is movable relative to the frame and along the central longitudinal axis with and against the biasing force of the biasing mechanism.

Electrical connector for photovoltaic modules

An electrical connector is provided for mating with a mating connector. The electrical connector includes a housing and an electrical contact held by the housing. The housing has a mating end that faces the mating connector when the electrical connector is mated with the mating connector. The housing includes a body having a retaining flange. A locking collar is movably mounted on the body of the housing. The locking collar includes a locking element and an inwardly directed shoulder having an opening extending therethrough. The locking element is configured to engage the mating connector to lock the electrical connector to the mating connector. The shoulder engages the retaining flange of the body when the locking collar is fully engaged with the mating connector. The retaining flange of the body is configured to engage the locking element of the locking collar to retain the locking collar on the body of the housing.
