In identifying vehicle navigation requirements using augmented reality, one vehicle determines that an event has occurred that concerns operation of the vehicle. The vehicle determines its current location, creates a notification message corresponding to navigation requirements matching the current location and the event, and sends the notification message. Another vehicle receives the notification message. In response, the other vehicle determines its current environment and a correlation between the navigation requirements and the current environment. An augmented reality system of the other vehicle displays alerts for the navigation requirements overlaid on a display of the current environment based on the correlation. I this manner, vehicle drivers are alerted to the navigation requirements applicable in particular locations or jurisdictions.

Using augmented reality to present vehicle navigation requirements

Aspects of the present invention disclose a method for identifying autonomous vehicles that are causing traffic congestion due to anticipation of a pick-up event. The method includes one or more processors obtaining data of one or more sensors of an autonomous vehicle. The method further includes obtaining video data of a location that includes the autonomous vehicle. The method further includes determining a route of the autonomous vehicle based at least in part on the video data of the location that includes the autonomous vehicle. The method further includes determining whether the autonomous vehicle is performing a traffic infraction based at least in part on the route of the autonomous vehicle.

Detecting autonomous vehicles causing increased vehicle queueing

Disclosed embodiments provide techniques for incorporating drive-through wait times into a route calculation. A user often wishes to stop by a drive-through facility on their way to a final destination such as home or work. Disclosed embodiments factor the estimated wait time at the drive-through in determining an optimal travel route. The route is optimized for travel time based on received drive-through criteria.

Provided are a computer program product, moveable robot block, and method for a moveable robot block deployed to form a barrier and sense environmental conditions. A command is received to couple to a location in a coordinate system comprising the barrier formed of a plurality of moveable robot blocks. Movement motors are controlled to cause the moveable robot block to move to the location in the coordinate system to couple to the barrier according to the command. An environmental sensor senses an environmental condition related to water sensed external to the moveable robot block when the moveable robot block is coupled to the barrier. The environmental condition is transmitted to the assembly management system over the network.

Provided are a computer program product, system, and method for controlling moveable robot blocks to dynamically form a barrier. A barrier plan is generated indicating a placement of moveable robot blocks at locations in a coordinate system to form a barrier in a geographical area, wherein the coordinates system indicates locations for the moveable robot blocks to form the barrier. Commands are transmitted to the moveable robot blocks deployed in the geographical area where the barrier is to be formed to cause the moveable robot blocks to move to the locations in the coordinate system in the barrier plan to form the barrier.

An embodiment of the invention may include a method, computer program product and computer system for environment based navigation. The method, computer program product and computer system may include computing device which may collect environment map data. The environment map data may include one or more environmental zones. The computing device may receive one or more user environment preferences from a user. The user environment preferences may include a user's preferred environmental zones and non-preferred environmental zones. The computing device may receive a destination from the user and determine one or more routes to the destination. The computing device may compare the one or more determined routes to the environment map data and the user environment preferences and display a list of the determined routes based on the user environment preference data.

Described herein are techniques for generating and utilizing drivability maps. The techniques including a method comprising receiving a set of vehicle performance records including a first vehicle performance record comprising a vehicle location, a vehicle configuration, and traction control system information. The method further includes determining, from the set of vehicle performance records, a respective Coefficient of Friction (CoF) value for respective road segments including a first CoF value for a first road segment. The method further includes determining, from the set of vehicle performance records and the respective CoF values, a first CoF threshold for a first vehicle configuration. The method further includes generating a drivability map for the first vehicle configuration indicating different levels of drivability for different road segments based on the respective CoF values for respective road segments and the first CoF threshold for the first vehicle configuration.

The computer-implemented method may include registering a plurality of facial features associated with the individual, and, in response to capturing an image of the individual from a video stream, determining whether the facial features associated with the individual are registered. The computer-implemented method may further include, in response to the determination that the facial features associated with the individual are registered, obscuring the facial features of the individual captured from the video stream with an unidentifiable image.

A method, system and computer program product provide assessing environmental conditions outside an autonomous vehicle and recommending modifications for the autonomous vehicle based on a condition. A plurality of possible routes are determined for an autonomous vehicle using a navigational system. Environmental conditions are assessed, and one or more environmental conditions are identified outside the autonomous vehicle related to each of the plurality of possible routes. A determination is made as to when the one or more environmental conditions necessitate a modification of the autonomous vehicle for traveling the respective possible route. One of the possible routes are selected based on a criteria which includes avoiding a greatest number of the environmental conditions which necessitate the modification. The autonomous vehicle is routed along the selected route to a service station for implementing the modification based on the condition related to the selected route.

A progress point at which the first user stops consuming the entertainment media may be identified. An upcoming spoiler for the first user of the entertainment media may be detected by evaluating data of the entertainment media. A mitigating action may be executed in response to detecting the upcoming spoiler.

A method, computer system, and computer program product for using self-driving autonomous vehicles to form traffic barriers. The method may include receiving, by a processor, an identification of a location of an event. The method may identify a vehicle from an inventory of autonomous vehicles based on one or more criteria. The criteria may include a vehicle location criterion, a vehicle size criterion, a vehicle fuel criterion, or a vehicle availability criterion. The method may include transmitting to the vehicle an instruction to move to a first location. The method may include identifying a perimeter encompassing the location of the event. The method may include identifying a subset of vehicles in the first position and instructing the subset of vehicles to move to a second position. The method may include instructing the subset of vehicles in the second position to move back to the first position.

Tools, methods and systems for detecting and reporting the presence of an obstruction to an AC system of the present disclosure are able to detect the presence of the obstruction using one or more sensors connected to the air conditioning unit and displaying an alert on the computer system of the AC system when the sensors detect the presence of the obstruction. By displaying an alert at the computer system's output device, the presence of the obstruction is brought to the user's attention, allowing the user to take remedial action as needed before initiating the air conditioning system into operation, preventing the obstruction from harming the components of AC system if the system was initiated while the obstruction was still present. Additionally, the AC system may further disable or prevent the operation and initiation of itself when the sensors of the air conditioning system detect the presence of an obstruction.

Embodiments describe an approach for locating one or more light emitters proximate to a location of a physical display area. Embodiments further describe transmitting information of a target content to an augmented reality device using light generated by the one or more light emitters, wherein the information includes a light-based data stream of the target content and the target content is not pre-loaded; and responsive to a reception of the information of the target content by the augmented reality device, determining a portion of the target content for displaying on the physical display area. Embodiments also describe overlaying target contents on a physical display area using projected light grid or a grid of light emitters. Information on the target contents is transmitted from the emitters using light to an augmented reality device. The information includes light-based data stream of the target contents and physical coordinates of a frame.
