A core wall of the frame core includes filament reinforced polymer, and the core wall extends between the core exterior face and the core interior face. One or more core cavities are within the frame core and surrounded by the core wall. At least one insulation scaffold is seated within the one or more cavities. The insulation scaffold includes one or more scaffold walls and scaffold cavities bordered by the one or more scaffold walls. Engagement feet are coupled with the remainder of the insulation scaffold, and the engagement feet are engaged against the core wall.

A fenestration hinge assembly includes a first leaf rotatably coupled with a second leaf. The first and second leaves each include one or more leaf knuckles. The first and second leaf knuckles are at least partially received within a hinge cavity of a recessed escutcheon, the recessed escutcheon configured for recessed installation within a panel or frame of a fenestration assembly. The fenestration hinge assembly includes a lateral adjustment plate movably coupled with a remainder of the second leaf. The lateral adjustment plate is configured to position at least a portion of the second leaf laterally relative to one of the frame or the panel. The fenestration hinge assembly includes an adjustable hinge configured for elevation adjustment. The adjustable hinge includes an elevation adjustment pin interconnecting the first and second leaf knuckles. The elevation adjustment pin is configured to position the second leaf vertically relative to the first leaf.

Recessed fenestration hinge assembly and method for same

A fenestration assembly includes a glazing unit includes a pane spacer between exterior and interior panes proximate glazing unit edges. A fenestration frame is coupled around the glazing unit and includes a frame core extending around the glazing unit. The frame core includes a unitary core wall including a composite material that is hollow and extends continuously from a core interior face to a core exterior face. A metal glazing cap is coupled with the frame core. The metal glazing cap having a cap end indirectly engaged with the glazing unit along the interior pane, and the cap end is remote from the pane spacer. Each of the core exterior face, the pane spacer and the metal glazing cap are thermally isolated from each other with the frame core including the unitary core wall.

A lift and sliding fenestration assembly includes a single or multi lift/slide panel assembly including at least a primary panel and an optional secondary panel, where the primary panel is slidable along a first plane. The fenestration assembly further includes a linkage system operatively coupled with the lift/slide panel assembly, and a handle is coupled with the linkage system. The handle has an open position and a closed position, and the handle is movable between an open position and a closed position. The handle travels in a second plane, and the second plane is transverse to the first plane. In a further option, the primary panel is slidable along the first plane when the handle is rotated and placed in an open position.
