An apparatus, method and manufacture utilizes additive manufacturing techniques to produce architectural manufactures such as windows and doors. The manufactures may have a composite construction and may feature inclusions like metal plates and reinforcements. The model used for controlling the manufacturing process may be derived from digital scanning of the structure on which the manufacture is used. Optionally, a finite element analysis is used to test the model and alter it in response to stress and/or thermal requirements.

A sliding door assembly allowing for varying performance and threshold heights is disclosed herein. A sliding door assembly incorporating a sliding door sill of the present invention can have varying performance and threshold heights while maintaining the integrity of the assembly. For example, the sliding doors do not have to be removed from the assembly, and the door frame does not have to be uninstalled.

A sliding door assembly includes a fixed meeting stile sufficiently designed for maintaining a vertical weather strip gasket; a door jamb sufficiently designed for maintaining a vertical weather strip gasket; a first horizontal weather bar comprising an attaching means for engaging a sill of the sliding door assembly, and a horizontal member having a first end for engaging the fixed meeting stile, and a second end for engaging the door jamb, wherein the horizontal member is sufficiently designed for maintaining a horizontal weather strip gasket; and a second horizontal weather bar comprising an attaching means for engaging a head component of the sliding door assembly, and a horizontal member having a first end for engaging the fixed meeting stile, and a second end for engaging the door jamb, wherein the horizontal member is sufficiently designed for maintaining a horizontal weather strip gasket.

A pair of interlocking bi-parting sliding doors includes a first sliding door and a second sliding door, wherein the first sliding door has a first meeting stile that includes a first side portion for maintaining a door glass panel and a first mating side portion for engaging the second sliding door, wherein the first mating side portion includes a plurality of recessed zones, and wherein the second sliding door has a second meeting stile that includes a second side portion for maintaining a door glass panel and a second mating side portion for engaging the first mating side portion of the first sliding door, wherein the second mating side portion includes a plurality of extensions, wherein when the first sliding door and the second sliding door are in a closed position, the plurality of extensions interlock with the plurality of recessed zones.
