Various embodiments provide a high-efficiency and directional non-resonant laser using a scattering cavity and a method of manufacturing the same. According to various embodiments, the non-resonant laser may include a gain medium unit in which a scattering cavity and an entrance communicating with the scattering cavity are provided, and a pumping and supply unit configured to supply pumping light to an inside of the scattering cavity. The gain medium unit may be implemented to be excited by the pumping light on the inside of the scattering cavity and to output emission light through the entrance. According to various embodiments, the gain medium unit may weaken the pumping light while reflecting the pumping light on the inside of the scattering cavity, and may amplify the emission light while reflecting the emission light on the inside of the scattering cavity.

High-efficiency and directional non-resonant laser using scattering cavity and method of manufacturing the same

According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, provided is an apparatus for providing microorganism information, including: a receiving unit configured to receive a plurality of images obtained by photographing in time series an outgoing wave emitted from a sample; a detecting unit configured to extract a feature of a change over time from the plurality of images obtained by photographing in time series; a learning unit configured to machine-learn classification criteria based on the extracted feature; and a determining unit configured to classify the type or concentration of a microorganism included in the sample based on the classification criteria, wherein each of the plurality of images includes speckle information generated by multiple scattering by the microorganism due to waves incident on the sample.

Provided is a sample property detecting apparatus including: a wave source configured to irradiate a wave towards a sample; a detector configured to detect a laser speckle that is generated when the wave is multiple-scattered by the sample, at every time point that is set in advance; and a controller configured to obtain a temporal correlation that is a variation in the detected laser speckle according to time, and to detect properties of the sample in real-time based on the temporal correlation, wherein the detector detects the laser speckle between the sample and the detector or from a region in the detector.

Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for forming a 3D holographic image using non-periodically structured optical elements. The 3D holographic image apparatus includes a light source configured to radiate light, a spatial light modulator configured to modulate the light projected by the light source, and a non-periodic optical element configured to modulate incident light by refracting, diffracting or reflecting the direction of the incident light in a plurality of directions when the light modulated by the spatial light modulator is incident. A 3D holographic image may be formed based on the light modulated by the non-periodic optical element.

Apparatus and method for forming 3-dimensional holographic image using aperiodically structured optical elements

An apparatus and method for detecting microbes use laser speckles. The apparatus includes a light source configured to irradiate light into a sample to detect microbes, and a measuring part configured to measure laser speckles, which are formed due to a multiple scattering of the light which is incident into the sample, every reference time and to measure concentration of the microbes contained in the sample based on temporal correlation of the measured laser speckles.
