Fan apparatus for an air conditioner including a fan (), a shaft () coupled to the fan (), a rotor () for transmission of driving force to the shaft () for rotating the fan (), a stator () on an inside of the rotor () to form a BLDC motor together with the rotor (), and a fan housing () for enclosing the fan (), thereby reducing noise and enhancing fan () efficiency.

Fan for air conditioner

A fan apparatus and an air conditioner employing such a fan apparatus are provided to reduce noise and enhance efficiency. The fan apparatus may be driven by a BLDC motor that stably drives the fan and increases an air flow rate. Heat exchange efficiency of an outdoor unit of a front suction/discharge type air conditioner may be improved by such a fan apparatus driven by such a BLDC motor.

There is provided a method for preparing an anatase type titanium dioxide photocatalyst having a particle size of nano level without a need of the sintering process at high temperature, and an anatase type titanium dioxide photocatalyst having a particle size nano level. The method for preparing an anatase type titanium dioxide photocatalyst having a particle size of nano level includes adding a titanium-based starting material to a selected solvent and adding an acid or base catalyst to the resulting aqueous solution. Next, subjecting the catalyst-containing aqueous solution to heat treatment at about 80&plusmn;20&deg; C. to activate peptization thereby preparing an anatase type titanium dioxide sol solution. Finally, the anatase type titanium dioxide sol solution is coated onto a support to complete the preparation of the photocatalyst.
