The present invention provides an organocatalyst of formula (I), wherein Ris &#x2014;H, &#x2014;OH, &#x2014;O&#x2014;Si(R)(R)(R) or Calkoxy, in which R, Rand Rare identical or different and independently selected from the group consisting of Calkyl, phenyl and phenyl substituted with Calkyl; Ris &#x2014;OH or &#x2550;O; Xis one selected from the group consisting of &#x2014;NH&#x2014;, &#x2014;S&#x2014; and Xis one selected from the group consisting of &#x2014;C(&#x2550;O)&#x2014;, &#x2014;CH&#x2014; and and Xis different from X. The high yield and enantioselectivity of an addition reaction are obtained by using the organocatalyst of the present invention.

Organocatalyst

The present invention discloses a structure of camphor-derived chiral auxiliary with a general formula (I), wherein Rand Rgroups are independently hydrogen or Cto Calkyl, X group is oxygen, two hydrogen atoms, or sulfur, and Y group is a functional group with stereo effect. Moreover, this invention also discloses a method for forming the above-mentioned chiral auxiliary.

Structure of camphor-derived chiral auxiliary and method for forming the same

Chiral chelating agents and chiral catalysts, which are formed from the chiral chelating agents and metal, are described. One chiral chelating agent has a general formula (1) as illustrated below:wherein R represents H, methyl, ethyl, a primary, secondary or tertiary straight, branched or cyclic alkyl group having 3-7 carbon atoms, a heterocyclic or aromatic group, an aromatic group substituted at the 2-, 3- or 4-position, an aromatic-like group, or a naphthyl or naphthyl-derived group, and n is an integer between 0 and 4.
