An outer rotor motor includes an inner stator and an outer rotor. The inner stator includes a stator frame and a stator unit mounted to the stator frame. The outer rotor includes a shaft and a rotor unit fixed to the shaft. The stator frame is integrally formed from plastic as an integral structure and comprises a base and a hub extending from the base, the hub forms a chamber therein, supporting components are installed in the chamber, and the shaft extends into the chamber and supported by the supporting components such that the shaft is rotatable relative to the stator frame. In the present invention, the stator frame has an integral structure made of plastic which simplifies the structure of the motor and reduces the cost of the motor. The present invention further provides a vacuum cleaner that employs the motor.

A motor shaft includes a main body and a chamfered end formed at an end of the main body. The chamfered end has a chamfer formed at a peripheral surface thereof, and a groove defined in an end surface thereof. An axial length of the chamfer is greater than a depth of the groove in the axial direction of the motor shaft. An electric motor including the motor shaft is also provided.

A rotor includes a magnet yoke and a number of permanent magnets. The magnet yoke defines a number of accommodating slots therein, and each of the permanent magnets is received in one of the accommodating slots. An elastic member protrudes from the magnet yoke towards each of the accommodating slots, the permanent magnets are inserted in the corresponding accommodating slots, and the elastic members are bent and abut against the permanent magnets. An endcap assembly for an electric motor and a stator having same are provided. The endcap assembly includes an endcap, a first wire, and two terminals corresponding to the first wire. The two terminals are fixed to the endcap and configured to connect with corresponding windings of the electric motor. The endcap defines a first accommodating groove extending from one terminal to the other terminal. The first wire is received in the first accommodating groove, and two ends of the first wire are electrically connected to the two terminals, respectively.

An electric motor for a blower and the like has a commutator and a brush assembly for making electrical contact with the commutator. The brush assembly includes a brush holder and a brush slidably mounted to the brush holder. The brush holder includes a brush holder plate and a side portion extending from the brush holder plate. The brush is arc-shaped and includes a first surface contacting the brush holder plate and a second surface contacting the side portion of the brush holder. The side portion of the brush holder has a number of ribs contacting the second surface of the brush.

Electric motor

A fluid generating device and an electric apparatus utilizing the fluid generating device are provided. The fluid generating device includes a motor and an impeller driven by the motor. The motor is a single phase direct current brushless motor which includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and a stator winding. The stator core includes an outer ring portion, teeth extending inwardly from the outer ring portion, a pole shoe formed at the tooth. Slot openings are formed between the pole shoes. The rotor is received in a receiving chamber defined by the pole shoes. Inner surfaces of the pole shoes and the rotor form therebetween a substantially even air gap. The presence of even air gap can reduce the cogging torque of the motor, thus reducing the startup current and noise of the motor.

An electric motor includes a stator and a rotor rotatably installed in the stator. The stator includes a pair of end caps disposed at opposite ends thereof, and a pair of bearings respectively fixed to outer surfaces of the end caps from outside thereof. The rotor includes a shaft pivotally supported by the bearings.

A diffuser platefor a bypass blower motor assembly has a number of vanesfor guiding air flow from an impeller to outlet openings in an impeller housing. Each vane has two curved air guiding blades.
