A cryogenic liquid storage apparatus includes an inner container configured to store a cryogenic liquid, an inner holder disposed at the inner container, an outer container that surrounds the inner container, an outer holder disposed at the outer container, and a support wire that is a single body defining a closed-loop shape passing through the outer holder and the inner holder. The support wire is configured to support the inner container with respect to the outer container.

A hydrogen storage system may include a storage container storing liquid hydrogen, a supply line connected to the storage container and to a fuel cell system, the supply line supplying gaseous hydrogen to the fuel cell system from the storage container, a compressor mounted in the supply line and compressing the gaseous hydrogen, a bypass line connecting the supply line and the storage container and allowing the gaseous hydrogen to flow from the supply line to the storage container, a control valve mounted in the bypass line and selectively adjusting a bypass flow rate of the gaseous hydrogen, an orifice provided in the bypass line, and a controller configured to control the control valve, accurately adjusting a supply pressure of the storage container and a supply amount of the hydrogen to be supplied to the fuel cell system based on the operation conditions of the fuel cell system.

Hydrogen storage system

A fuel cell is provided that includes a cell stack having a plurality of unit cells stacked in a first direction. An enclosure is disposed to surround the cell stack and includes an inlet that suctions external air and an outlet that discharges air that has been suctioned through the inlet and has circulated in the space between the cell stack and the enclosure. An insulating member is disposed to extend in the first direction in the space between an outer surface of the cell stack and an inner surface of the enclosure. The insulating member divides the space into a plurality of spaces and has an aperture formed therein to provide communication between the divided plurality of spaces, and an air intake member configured to suction air discharged from the outlet.

Fuel cell with corrosion resistance

A fuel cell having a structure for detachably mounting a cell-monitoring connector thereon includes separators arranged to be spaced apart from each other in a first direction, each of the separators including a receiving recess arranged in one side thereof, and hook-shaped gaskets respectively disposed on the separators and located around the receiving recess. The cell-monitoring connector includes a housing, at least a portion of the housing being received in a receiving space defined by the receiving recess, and connection terminals inserted into the housing to be connected to the separators. The housing includes a body inserted into the receiving space in a second direction that intersects the first direction, and a lever portion including a latching protrusion configured to be latched to or separated from a corresponding gasket among the hook-shaped gaskets by a pressing operation.

Cell-monitoring connector and fuel cell having structure for detachably mounting the cell-monitoring connector thereon

A laser welding apparatus for laser-welding a first welding target and a second welding target seated on the first welding target includes a first jig on which the first welding target is seated, a second jig configured to press the first welding target such that the first welding target is adhered to the first jig, a third jig configured to press the second welding target such that the second welding target is adhered to the first welding target, one or more connection members connecting the second jig and the third jig such that the second welding target is pressed by the second jig when the first welding target is pressed by the first jig, and a laser head configured to laser-weld the first welding target and the second welding target by irradiating a laser beam to a specific welding part of the second welding target.

Fuel cell stack pressurized by press forks and assembly method of the same

A method and system for diagnosing a state of fuel cell are provided. The system includes a signal measurement unit that has a high pass filter with a predetermined cut-off frequency and a voltage measurement circuit, and that measures a first AC voltage to measure the fuel cell state diagnosis signal and a noise measurement unit including a band pass filter that has a predetermined pass band and a voltage measurement circuit, and that measures a second AC voltage to measure the fuel cell state diagnosis noise. A controller calculates a signal to noise ratio (SNR) of fuel cell state diagnosis data based on the first and second AC voltages, determines the corresponding fuel cell state diagnosis data to be reliable when the SNR value is greater than a predetermined reference value, and applies the fuel cell state diagnosis data to a control of a fuel cell vehicle.

Method and system for diagnosing state of fuel cell

An apparatus and method for controlling operation of a fuel cell system is provided. The method includes measuring a stack current and a stack insulation resistance. The measured stack current is compared with a predetermined current reference value and the measured stack insulation resistance is compared with a predetermined first insulation reference value. An air supply amount to a fuel cell stack is increased during a predetermined time when the measured stack current is less than the predetermined current reference value and the measured stack insulation resistance is less than or equal to the predetermined first insulation reference value.

Apparatus and method for controlling operation of fuel cell system

An apparatus for diagnosing a fuel cell and a vehicle system includes a measuring device that measures a stack voltage and a stack current from a fuel cell stack, and at least one processor that extracts a plurality of reference current points and a plurality of reference voltage points corresponding to the reference current points by analyzing the measured stack voltage and the measured stack current, calculates an abnormality degree of the fuel cell stack based on a reference signal waveform formed by using voltage differences between the reference voltage points, and determines an abnormal state of the fuel cell stack based on the calculated abnormality degree of the fuel cell stack.

Apparatus and method for diagnosing fuel cell and vehicle system

A manifold block mounted to a fuel cell stack for supplying and distributing air and hydrogen to the stack, the manifold block comprises: a main body including a hydrogen inlet, a hydrogen outlet, an air inlet and an air outlet; a hydrogen outlet cover welded to an outer surface of the main body and including a condensation chamber connected to the hydrogen outlet; an air inlet cover welded to an inner surface of the main body and including an air inflow portion connected to the air inlet; and an air outlet cover welded to the inner surface of the main body and including an air outflow portion connected to the air outlet.

An inspection apparatus of an electrolyte membrane is provided. The apparatus includes a lower supporter having a gas line through which gas flows or a concave portion that stores the gas. An upper supporter is disposed at an upper side of the lower supporter, and includes an opening. A membrane-electrode assembly is disposed between the lower supporter and the upper supporter. An upper cover covers an upper portion of the opening, and is formed with a plurality of partitions. An exhaust port is formed at the upper supporter to exhaust deionized water.

A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell stack including an air electrode and a fuel electrode, a stack housing having a hollow therein to accommodate the fuel cell stack in the hollow, an air compressor configured to pump air to supply the air to the air electrode, a ventilation pipe connecting an entrance of the air compressor and the hollow, and at least one vent hole provided on an outer wall of the stack housing such that the hollow and an outside of the stack housing communicate with each other. An interior of the stack housing is ventilated by lowering of a pressure at the entrance of the air compressor, which is generated as the air compressor is operated, while air outside the stack housing is suctioned into the entrance of the air compressor after passing through the vent hole, the hollow, and the ventilation pipe.

Fuel cell system and fuel cell stack housing

An apparatus includes a stack voltage monitor that measures a voltage of each channel of a plurality of channels of a fuel cell stack. Each of the channel of the plurality of channels includes a predetermined number of unit cells. The stack voltage monitor calculates impedance of each of the channel from the measured voltage. The apparatus further includes a controller that diagnoses a state of the fuel cell stack based on the impedance of each of the channel.
