A display apparatus having an improved supporting configuration of a display part, which includes a display to display an image thereon and a pair of bases which are coupled to the display to rotate around an axis of upward and downward directions with respect to a vertical line of the display.

Display apparatus

A display apparatus includes an LCD panel, a PCB assembly placed behind the LCD panel and supplying electric current to the LCD panel, an LCD frame provided around the LCD panel, a plurality of first combining parts formed on peripheral sides of the LCD frame, and a plurality of second combining parts formed on the plane of the LCD frame. A front cover is placed in front of the LCD panel, covering edges of the LCD panel and is combined to one of the first and second combining parts. A rear cover is placed behind the LCD panel, accommodating the PCB assembly, and is combined to the other one of the first and second combining parts. With this configuration, the present invention provides a display apparatus which minimizes a space for installation, carriage and storage, has a slim and compact appearance, and prevents an illusion that a display part of an LCD panel is relatively small. Further, the present invention provides a display apparatus which need not comprise some components such as a panel supporting member and a PCB cover, thereby being easily and quickly assembled. Furthermore, the present invention provides a display apparatus of which front and rear covers are made of a conductive metal, so that an LCD panel and a PCB assembly are effectively protected from EMI.

Thin display apparatus

A display apparatus having a display module, to display a picture, includes a front casing positioned adjacent to a front and side of the display module, and a rear casing positioned in a rear of the display module and with a plurality of air slits, to dissipate heat generated in the display module. The front casing includes an insulator, to prevent the heat generated in the display module from being transferred exterior of the front casing. The display apparatus prevents heat from being transferred from a display module to the exterior of a front casing. Further, debris created while a screw is inserted does not fall toward the display module, thereby preventing the display module from a malfunction due to the fallen debris.

Display apparatus and method

A display apparatus including a display part and a stand part supporting the display part. The stand part includes a non-conductive supporting stand; a connection member, to which electromagnetic waves are induced, coupled to the display part and the supporting stand, and an electromagnetic wave induction bracket removably mounted to the supporting stand; wherein the electromagnetic wave induction bracket induces the electromagnetic waves from the connection member by contacting the connection member.

A monitor having a monitor body and a base member supporting the monitor body includes a link member positioned between the monitor body and the base member, a base hinge connecting one end of the link member with the base member in a tiltable manner to control the link member to be tilted relative to the base member within a predetermined degree of angle, a monitor hinge connecting the other end of the link member with the monitor body in the tiltable manner, an assistant link member transmitting a tilting movement of the link member relative to the base member to the monitor body, a first torsion coil spring elastically biasing the base member and the link member in opposite directions when the link member is forwardly tilted relative to the base member, and a second torsion coil spring elastically biasing the link member and the monitor in opposite directions when the monitor body is forwardly tilted relative to the link member. With this configuration, a monitor body can be easily adjusted in its height and viewing angle. Especially in a case of the monitor having a large-sized monitor body, the height and viewing angle thereof can be easily adjusted, and the viewing angle of the monitor body originally set up can be maintained when the height of the monitor body is adjusted. Also, a tilting angle of the monitor body can be adjusted relative to the base member.

Tilting apparatus of monitor

A display apparatus has a cathode ray tube bulb which includes a panel displaying a picture thereon, a funnel combined with the panel, and a neck connected to the funnel. The display apparatus further comprises an electron gun unit which includes an electron gun main body inserted into the neck and a boss part protruding from the neck at a rear part of the electron gun main body and having a plurality of pins disposed therearound, and a video unit which includes a video PCB disposed parallel to the axis of the neck and a boss holder vertically provided on the video PCB and combined with the boss part so as to transmit a video signal from the video PCB to the electron gun unit. With this configuration, space for installation of the video PCB is minimized, and the video unit is not easily separated from an electron gun unit.

Display apparatus having improved interconnection to video printed circuit board

A compartment assembly for a displaying apparatus is disclosed. An external signal input unit is installed in a portion of the compartment for receiving a video or audio signal generated from an outside of the displaying apparatus. The compartment assembly includes an opening formed on a front cover of the displaying apparatus, a support formed in an inner circumference of the front cover and disposed adjacent to the opening for supporting the external signal input unit, and a cover detachably coupled to the front cover for closing the opening. The cover includes a rib extended from a bottom of the cover so as to contact the external signal input unit for preventing the external signal input unit from moving when the cover closes the opening.

Assembly in a displaying apparatus

A monitor is provided that conceals the cable connection parts of the power and the signal cables inside the monitor's housing, which improves the monitor's appearance. The design of the rear housing and its attachments reduces manufacturing defects related to the signal cable caused while attaching the front and rear portions of the housing. Thus, improving production efficiency during the assembly of the monitor. The power and signal cables are connected to the monitor's interfaces in a direction perpendicular to the bottom of the housing. This reduces the space required between the monitor and a wall to avoid damaging the cable connections while rotating the monitor. The monitor also has a box inside the rear housing module which allows users to store a manual and small-sized tools in the box.

A display apparatus with a shield unit which is easily mounted includes: a cathode ray tube for displaying images; a first cover in which the cathode ray tube is assembled; a cathode ray tube bracket fixed to the front case for supporting the cathode ray tube, and having a reeve in the rear, a shield cover installed in the rear of the cathode ray tube bracket for shielding an electric field, and having a coupling unit in the front; a guiding rail for shielding an electric field, and of the shield cover with the reeve formed on the cathode ray tube bracket; and a second cover coupled with the first cover for covering the shield cover.
