A battery pack includes: a plurality of battery cells arranged into rows adjacent to each other, adjacent rows of battery cells being alternately shifted to front positions or rear positions in a row direction; busbars arranged to form a parallel group of battery cells by connecting a group of battery cells to each other in parallel, and connecting adjacent parallel groups to each other in series, the busbars including a body portion extending in a zigzag shape in a column direction and a first and second branch portion extending in the row direction from the body portion toward different parallel groups; and expansion pieces protruding from the body portion of the busbar to external positions outside the plurality of battery cells in the row direction or the column direction.

A display device is provided including a substrate. The substrate includes a pixel area and a light-blocking area. A light-emitting element is arranged in the pixel area of the substrate. An insulating layer is disposed on the substrate. The insulating layer has an opening corresponding to the light-blocking area and an insulating pattern corresponding to the pixel area. A light control pattern at least partially surrounds the insulating pattern of the insulating layer and is arranged in the opening corresponding to the light-blocking area.

A display apparatus includes a first substrate in which a plurality of pixel areas and a non-pixel area around the pixel areas are defined, a cavity-defining layer disposed on the first substrate and defining a plurality of cavities corresponding to the pixel areas, an insulating layer disposed on the cavity-defining layer and in the cavities, a liquid crystal layer disposed on the insulating layer in the cavities, and a second substrate disposed on the insulating layer to cover the liquid crystal layer. The liquid crystal layer has a same refractive index as the cavity-defining layer when the liquid crystal layer is not driven. The liquid crystal layer has a greater refractive index than the cavity-defining layer when the liquid crystal layer is driven.

Display apparatus and method of fabricating the same

A display device includes a substrate on which a pixel area and a non-pixel area around the pixel area are defined, an encapsulation layer disposed on the substrate, a light conversion layer including a light converter disposed on the encapsulation layer to overlap the pixel area, and a light guide layer disposed between the encapsulation layer and the light conversion layer to define a first cavity that overlaps the pixel area and a second cavity that overlaps the non-pixel area.
