A method for transmitting a discovery message in a wireless communication system supporting device-to-device (D2D) direct communication, the method performed by the device, includes: receiving discovery resource region information including multiple discovery resource partitions from a base station; determining one discovery resource partition among multiple discovery resource partitions by using discovery search information previously shared with specific D2D terminals; determining a discovery resource for transmitting a discovery message among discovery resources in the determined discovery resource partition through a predetermined resource selecting method; and transmitting the discovery message through the determined discovery resource.

The present invention provides a method and an apparatus performing device-to-device (D2D) communication in a wireless communication system. More particularly, D2D terminals supporting D2D communication are identified, discovery groups are formed for the D2D terminals using the same application, and discovery timing is established depending on the discovery group such that D2D terminals belonging to the same discovery group are shifted to an active state during the discovery timing in order to transceive signals by using time and frequency resources designated for D2D discovery with the discovery timing having a variable value depending on the discovery group.

A method for terminal clustering in a wireless communication system supporting D2D (Device-to-Device) communication and an apparatus supporting the method are disclosed. More specifically, a method for a user equipment (UE) to perform UE clustering in a wireless communication system supporting D2D communication comprises determining an initial preference value, determining an initial preference triplet by performing an AP (Affinity Propagation) method by increasing or decreasing the preference value, updating a preference triplet through a GSS (Golden Section Search) method based on the initial preference triplet, determining a final preference value for minimizing energy consumption of the entire UEs from the updated preference triplet; and determining a head UE and member UEs belonging to the head UE by performing the AP method by using the final preference value.

Method for terminal clustering in wireless communication system supporting device-to-device communication and apparatus therefor

The present invention provides a method and apparatus for performing device-to-device communication in a wireless communication system. The method includes generating identification information of a D2D user equipment that supports the D2D communication as identification information for D2D discovery using a hash function, the identification information for discovery includes information of a first length for indicating a division region of the beacon signals and information of a second length included in the beacon. The information of a first length and the information of a second length are smaller than identification information of the D2D user equipment. Accordingly, by performing discovery for the D2D user equipment through the identification information having shorter length than prior art, and performing discovery in a range where the discovery is available through the region in which the beacon signals are allocated, advantages of performing the D2D discovery effectively are provided.

Transmitting and receiving apparatus having plural antenna in multi-user environments and method thereof

The invention relates to a multi-transmission/reception antenna device and a multi-transmission/reception method in a multi-user and multi-cell environment. When a plurality of spatial subchannels having a multi-user and a multi-transmission/reception antenna are allocated to users (that is, user terminals), a user group to be supported and the number of users are selected in consideration of an influence of interference signals from adjacent cells. Accordingly, variability and independence of channels for users and interference signals from adjacent cells can be effectively used, thereby improving a transfer rate of a wireless communication system. The invention allows data transfer at higher speed with limited wireless resources. In particular, an influence of interference from adjacent cells that is inevitable in a multi-cell environment primarily used for the efficient use of wireless resources can be removed using a multi-transmission/reception antenna, while a transfer rate of each user can be effectively increased.
