A method for object position estimation based on a magnetic field using an underwater sensor network, includes: step of receiving a magnetic field signal that is emitted from an underwater moving object using an underwater sensor network which is configured with a plurality of magnetic field sensors in the water; step of extracting an induced magnetic field signal by removing a geomagnetic field and a noise signal from the received magnetic field signal; step of determining whether or not the moving object enters the underwater sensor network using the induced magnetic field signal; and step of estimating a position of the object using position information of the plurality of sensors that sense the object if it is determined that the object enters the underwater sensor network.

The present invention relates to a virtual radio map constructing method for Radio-positioning and a device using the same. An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a virtual radio map constructing method, including: converting first and second RSS values obtained from two access points adjacent to each of a plurality of access points into first and second RSS values of a linear unit; respectively dividing first and second distances between the access point and the two access points adjacent thereto in an exponential interval, and respectively dividing the first and second RSS values in the exponential interval; generating a plurality of virtual training points by using a plurality of points divided in the exponential interval, and respectively obtaining RSS values of the plurality of virtual training points; and respectively obtaining RSS values of reference points by using RSS values of at least one virtual training points.

A wireless localization method using a fingerprinting technique that performs localization by using a plurality of access points and a plurality of sample points arranged at regular distances, the wireless localization method includes: detecting first through third sample points adjacent to a predetermined node from among the plurality of sample points via the fingerprinting technique; calculating corrected coordinates by using a received signal strength (RSS) between the predetermined node and the first sample point, an RSS value between the predetermined node and the second sample point, an RSS value between the first and second sample points, an RSS value between the first and third sample points, and a distance between the plurality of sample points; and estimating a location of the predetermined node by reflecting the corrected coordinates on coordinates of the first sample point.

Wireless localization method and wireless localization apparatus using fingerprinting technique

Provided is a wireless positioning method using a wireless sensor network, for estimating a position of an unknown node that is a positioning target by using a plurality of anchor nodes arranged at regular intervals, the wireless positioning method including: setting a plurality of test nodes at regular intervals on a space formed by some of the plurality of anchor nodes; obtaining a number and position information of anchor nodes within a predetermined distance from the unknown node; detecting at least one test node matching the obtained number and position information; and estimating a position of the unknown node by calculating an average coordinate value of the detected at least one test node.
