A display device is provided. The display device may include a substrate, a plurality of pixels, a first data line, a second data line, a defect sensing line, a first input pad, and a static electricity discharge element. The substrate may include a display area and a peripheral area neighboring each other. The plurality of pixels may be positioned on the display area and may include a first pixel and a second pixel. The first data line may be electrically connected to the first pixel. The second data line may be electrically connected to the second pixel and may be electrically isolated from the first data line. The defect sensing line may be positioned on the peripheral area. The first input pad may be electrically connected to the defect sensing line. The static electricity discharge element may be electrically connected through the defect sensing line to the first input pad.

A display device may include a display panel and an input sensor. Mesh lines of the input sensor may include first mesh lines extending in a first direction and second mesh lines extending in a second direction crossing the first direction. The first mesh lines and the second mesh lines may cross each other at a plurality of cross points. In a unit region of the sensing electrode, first cutting points may be defined in the first mesh lines and the second mesh lines, and second cutting points may be defined in the first mesh lines and the second mesh lines.

A display device includes a substrate having a first region in which an image is displayed, a second region in which an image is not displayed, and a bending region connecting the first region and the second region. The bending region is configured to bend along a bending axis which extends in a first direction. A plurality of pad terminals is disposed within the second region. A first width of the bending region, measured along the first direction, is narrower than a second width of the second region, measured along the first direction.

A display includes a plurality of pixels in a non-quadrangular display area and a plurality of first driving circuits and a plurality of second driving circuits in a peripheral area of the display area. Each of the pixels is connected to a first signal line in a first direction and a second signal line in a second direction crossing the first direction. A display substrate and a display device including the display substrate are disclosed. In one aspect, the display substrate includes a plurality of pixels formed in a substantially circular pixel area and a driving circuit formed in a peripheral area surrounding the pixel area and configured to drive the pixels. A boundary is formed between the pixel area and the peripheral area, and the boundary is substantially concentric with respect to an arc defining the substantially circular pixel area. The driving circuit comprises a conductive pattern having a first side which extends in a peripheral direction crossing the boundary.

A display device may include a display panel including a substrate that includes a display area and a pad area adjacent to the display area, and a first pad and a second pad on the pad area of the substrate, and a chip-on-film package over the pad area of the substrate with the first pad and the second pad in between, the chip-on-film package including an insulation layer, a first wiring on an upper surface of the insulation layer and electrically connected to the first pad, and a second wiring on a lower surface of the insulation layer and electrically connected to the second pad. A first signal having alternating voltage levels may be applied to the first wiring, and a second signal having a constant voltage level may be applied to the second wiring.
