The present invention relates to a novel fulvene compound and a preparation method thereof, and more particularly to a fulvene compound having substituted groups in the 2- and 5-positions, prepared from an unsaturated ketone having a substituted group in the &#x3b2;-position and a halogen atom in the &#x3b1;-position, and a preparation method thereof. The present invention also relates to a metallocene catalyst having a substituted group in the &#x3b1;-position carbon of the bridge of the cyclopentadienyl group only by reaction of a fulvene compound and an anion group including the cyclopentadienyl group, and a preparation method of a polyolefin copolymer using the same.

The present invention relates to a non-magnetic mono-component toner composition, which comprises a) a non-magnetic toner particle comprising a binding resin comprising a binder resin and a copolymer of a cyclic olefin and an acyclic olefin polymerized in the presence of a metallocene catalyst and a cocatalyst, a colorant, and a charge-control agent; b) fine powder of an organic compound containing fluorine that is added to the surface of the non-magnetic toner particle; and c) hydrophobic silica having a specific surface area of 100 to 240 m/g. The toner composition of the present invention has superior transfer efficiency and charging properties and thus can obtain a stable image, does not show deteriorated image density, and does not generate background contamination of non-image areas and off-set due to deterioration of fixing properties, even if copying or printing is conducted therewith for a long time use.

The present invention relates to a process and equipment for preparing highly polymerized aromatic polycarbonate by postpolymerizing polycarbonate prepolymer. The polycarbonate prepolymer is formed by the melt transesterification of carbonate ester and diol compound. The polycarbonate prepolymer is postpolymerized using a horizontal tubular reactor comprising rotational plates, several separated compartments divided by the rotational plates, and vents. The degree of polycarbonate polymerization can be continuously controlled by regulating the residence time of reactants in the reactor compartments. This is achieved in the present invention by regulating the rate of polycarbonate prepolymer injection into the reactor. Discoloration of final products can be prevented in the present invention by discharging byproduct(s), aromatic alcohol, from the reactor compartment through a vent.
