A hinge apparatus for a portable terminal including a first housing, and a second housing rotatably connected to the first housing, includes a first connection terminal mounted on the first housing; a second connection terminal mounted on the second housing; and a connection member straightly reciprocating between the first and second connection terminals while the second housing rotates with an electric connection with the second connection terminal, wherein the connection member makes contact with the first connection terminal when the second housing is folded to the first housing with facing the first housing, and the connection member also moves in a direction of being spaced apart from and withdrawing from the first connection terminal when the second housing rotates in a direction of withdrawing from the first housing.

Hinge apparatus for portable terminal

A sliding module for a portable terminal which has a first housing and a second housing sliding on the first housing is disclosed, the sliding module slidably coupling the first and second housings. The sliding module includes a sliding plate mounted on a surface of the first housing; at least one guide rod mounted on a surface of the second housing and slidably coupled to the sliding plate, the guide rod being extended in the longitudinal direction of the second housing; at least one first guide rib formed on the sliding plate; and at least one second guide rib formed on the surface of the second housing, wherein the second guide rib is slidably engaged with the first guide rib, and maintains at least partial engagement with the first guide rib within a sliding range of the second housing.

Sliding module for portable terminal

Disclosed is a portable terminal with locking release device that includes a cover removably mounted on a side of a terminal housing; a first locking release having a button mounted in the terminal housing in such a manner as to be capable of linearly moving; and a second locking release having a rotary member mounted in the terminal housing and rotating as the button linearly moves, wherein the rotary member is rotated when the cover is mounted on the terminal housing, thereby linearly moving the cover. The portable terminal with the locking release device allows a battery cover to be easily mounted on or removed from a battery cover on a slim terminal, thereby stabilizing the battery mounting structure and enhancing the convenience in use.
