A display device includes scan lines disposed in a first direction; data lines disposed in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction; and unit pixel regions adjacent to the scan lines and the data lines, each unit pixel region including sub-pixels. A portion of an opening region of at least one of the sub-pixels overlaps a unit pixel region adjacent to a unit pixel region corresponding to the at least one of the sub-pixels, and a side of the opening region of the at least one of the sub-pixels extends in a third direction inclined with respect to each of the first direction and the second direction.

Display device

A display device includes a first substrate having a display area, a non-display area surrounding the display area, and a protruding area. A first sensing pad part is formed in the non-display area adjacent to the protruding area. A circuit element layer is positioned in the display area. A display element layer is positioned on the circuit element layer and includes a light-emitting layer and a second electrode on the light-emitting layer. A second substrate overlaps the first substrate and does not overlap the protruding area. A second sensing pad part is formed on the second substrate to overlap with the first sensing pad part. A sealing member is disposed along a border of the second substrate and attaches the first substrate to the second substrate. The first sensing pad part and the second sensing pad part are disposed between a border of the second electrode and the sealing member.

A display device includes a substrate, a light emitting element located on the substrate, an encapsulation layer covering the light emitting element, a sensing electrode located on the encapsulation layer, a first sensing line including a first portion having a first thickness and a second portion having a second thickness, and a second sensing line extended from the sensing electrode. The second sensing line is in contact with the first portion of the first sensing line. The first thickness and the second thickness are substantially the same. The first portion is positioned higher than the second portion from the substrate.

A display device includes: first pixels in a first pixel region and connected to first scan lines; second pixels in a second pixel region that is located at a side of the first pixel region and has a width smaller than a width of the first pixel region, and connected to second scan lines; third pixels in a third pixel region that is spaced apart from the second pixel region and has a width smaller than the width of the first pixel region, and connected to third scan lines; a load matching unit in a peripheral region at an outside of the second pixel region and the third pixel region, and configured to match loads of the second scan lines and the third scan lines to that of the first scan lines; and a protection unit connected between the second and third pixels and the load matching unit.

A display device includes first pixels in a first pixel area and coupled with first scan lines, first scan stage circuits in a first peripheral area outside the first pixel area, and configured to supply a first scan signal to the first scan lines, second pixels in a second pixel area having a width that is less than a width of the first pixel area, and coupled with second scan lines, second scan stage circuits in a second peripheral area outside the second pixel area, and configured to generate a second scan signal, and first load matching units respectively between the second scan stage circuits, and configured to delay the second scan signal, and to supply the delayed second scan signal to the second scan lines.

A display panel includes a display unit with a first area and a second area, first gate lines on the first area and the second area that extend in a first direction in the first area and in a third direction in the second area, while sections extending in the first direction and in a second direction are repeated, and second gate lines on the second area that extend in the third direction while sections extending in the first direction and in the second direction are repeated. The second gate line includes a plurality of sub gate lines that extend in the second direction in the second area, and one end of each of the plurality of sub gate lines is connected to one end of each of the plurality of second gate lines.

Display panel and display device

A display device includes: a substrate partitioned into a display area including a plurality of pixels for displaying images thereon and a non-display area around the display area; a plurality of first gate lines and a plurality of data lines extended in one direction on the display area; a plurality of pads on one side of the non-display area; a plurality of gate fan-out lines, each coupling one of the first gate lines and a corresponding one of the pads; and a plurality of data fan-out lines, each coupling one of the data lines and a corresponding one of the pads, wherein the gate fan-out lines and the data fan-out lines may be alternately disposed.

Display panel and display device having the same

A liquid crystal display includes a substrate including a plurality of pixels, each pixel having a first sub-pixel and a second sub-pixel; a pixel electrode including a first pixel electrode formed in a region corresponding to the first sub-pixel and a second pixel electrode formed in a region corresponding to the second sub-pixel on the substrate; a common electrode including a first common electrode formed to be spaced from the first pixel electrode and a second common electrode formed to be spaced from the second pixel electrode on the substrate; and a thin film transistor formed on the substrate to be electrically connected to the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode.
