System and method for controlling electromagnetic spatial radiation over a region by coordination the utilization of multiple ambient backscatter (ABC) nodes and repositionable dynamic reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs). Multiple coordinated ABCs are used to protect the region of primary use against the radiation due to the secondary users. Repositionable dynamic RISs provide more robustness to shadowing and power fluctuations in short time frame.

System and method for controlling electromagnetic radiation in a geographical area

Task assignment for multi-robot systems (MRSs) in a smart factory (Industry 4.0) is described. Aspects are directed to a hypergraph based MRS and production model facilitating the cooperation among robots and serving frequent reconfiguration desired in Industry 4.0. Aspects are directed to a time complexity friendly search algorithm for real-time application using a hypergraph model to get task assignment(s). Parameters are provided for a tradeoff between solution optimality and time complexity. By applying the method and devices, a resource obtained through contention by a terminal applied to an unlicensed frequency band can be properly used, to improve operating efficiency of the unlicensed frequency band.

The application discloses a wireless communication method that includes receiving, by a network device, uplink transmission of a first terminal in a first duration of channel occupancy duration of the first terminal. The channel occupancy duration of the first terminal further includes a second duration, and the second duration is later than the first duration. The network device performs downlink transmission in the second duration, where the sum of the first duration and the second duration is less than or equal to the channel occupancy duration of the first terminal. A system and method for applying supervised learning to model a second wireless channel environment based upon data collected for a first wireless channel environment. In various embodiments, regression techniques are used to overcome known channel modeling issues. Using the data of one particular communication environment, it is possible to predict a path loss model of a different communication environment. As such, the required number of measurements and the complexity of the model prediction is greatly reduced.

A cooperative precoding method, applied in a communication system comprising a coordinating device and multiple serving stations, is provided.
