A slicing and printing method for colour 3D physical model with protective film is provided. The method executes a slicing process to colour 3D object data for generating multiple layers of object slice data and colour slice data, generate multiple layers of body slice data and multiple layers of protection slice data according to multiple layers of the object slice data, manufacture multiple layers of body slice physical models according to multiple layers of the body slice data, color each layer of the manufactured body slice physical model according to the same layer of the colour slice data, and use light-transmissive print materials to manufacture multiple layers of protection slice physical models according to multiple layers of the protection slice data. The method can effectively make the manufactured colour 3D physical model be with light-transmissive protective film, and prevent the colour 3D physical model from decolorization.

A protecting method for accessing material data adopted by a printer having a processing unit, a MCU for storing material data, and a transmission interface is disclosed. A temperature control method of printing and a device thereof are provided, wherein the method and the device is adapted to a 3D printer which has a discharge nozzle. The control method includes the following steps. A temperature rule table is provided, and the temperature rule table is formed by a printing speed parameter and a discharge speed parameter of the 3D printer. At least one printing speed information and at least one discharge speed information are received. Corresponding temperature information is obtained from the temperature rule table according to the printing speed information and the discharge speed information. A method for printing a model for a 3D printer includes: perform a slicing process on an outer-frame object for generating multiple slicing-route files of multiple printing layers; perform the slicing process on a modeling object for generating multiple inkjet graphic files of the multiple printing layers; print a slicing object of one printing layer according to corresponding one of the slicing-route files; perform a filling process to the inside of the printed slicing object; perform a coloring process on the inside of the printed slicing object according to one of the inkjet graphic files corresponding to the same printing layer; and re-execute the above printing steps until all the printing layers are printed. The inside of the 3D model is colored via the inkjet graphic files generated after processing on the modeling object generating the visual effect that the modeling object is accommodated within the 3D model.

A method for quick configuration of Wi-Fi connection of output device is provided. The method includes following steps of: retrieving a plurality of access point data respectively corresponding to a plurality of Wi-Fi access points based on Wi-Fi protocol at a computer device; selecting one of the plurality of the access point data for generating a corresponded configuration data; establishing a heterogeneous connection with an output device based on a heterogeneous protocol; transferring the configuration data to the output device via the heterogeneous connection; and, establishing a Wi-Fi connection with the corresponded Wi-Fi access point based on Wi-Fi protocol according to the received configuration data at the output device. Therefore, the output device can be effectively connected to the designated Wi-Fi access point, the configuration of Wi-Fi connection can be simplified, and the configuration time can be reduced.

A printing head module including a body, a feeding roller assembly and a feeding sensor is provided. The body includes a material-supplying channel and a nozzle connected to the material-supplying channel. The feeding roller assembly is disposed at the material-supplying channel to transmit the modeling material to the nozzle. A printing method for printing a multi-material 3D model comprises the following steps: perform a slicing process on a multi-material 3D object to generate the multi-material object slices and the object slices of a useful object; compute a material-switching point and a retrieving point during the slicing process; print the multi-material object slices of a multi-material 3D model with one of the materials; when print to the material-switching point, switch to another different material and print useful objects with the material used before the material switching; when print to the retrieving point, print the multi-material object slices with the material used after the material switching; and repeat the above steps until completing the multi-material 3D model printing. The present disclosed example prints the useful object via the remaining materials after the material switching which effectively reduces the cost with of multi-materials printing.

Printing method for printing multi-material 3D model

A printing slicing method for 3D model for automatically adding a required supporting structure to a 3D model is disclosed. The method includes following steps. Retrieve a minimum overlapping ratio corresponding to a layer height. Execute a slicing process and analyze an overlapping ratio between two molded object slices which form a suspended slope. Add the supporting structure below the corresponding suspended slope when determining that the overlapping ratio is less than the minimum overlap ratio. This disclosed example can effectively prevent the suspended part of a printed 3D model entity from a deformation because of the adhesion area thereon is too small, and can also effectively save the printing time and the usage amount of supplies.

Method of automatically adding supporting structure to 3D model

A three-dimensional (3-D) printer and a method for adjusting a working coordinate of a platform thereof are provided. The 3-D printer includes a platform, a printing head and a control unit. The platform includes a carrying surface and adjustment points located on the carrying surface. The printing head disposed above the platform for moving along a datum plane and a normal direction of the datum plane. The control unit controls the printing head to move from the datum plane toward the platform to contact each of the adjustment points for obtaining a coordinate offset of the carrying surface corresponding to the datum plane, and adjusts a model coordinate of a digital 3-D model information according to the coordinate offset. The control unit moves the printing head according to the adjusted model coordinate to print a 3-D object related to the digital 3-D model information on the carrying surface.

Three dimensional printer and method for adjusting working coordinate of platform thereof

A heating platform including a substrate, a heating plate, a conducting plate and a temperature sensing element is provided. The substrate has a first surface for forming a three dimensional (3D) object and an opposite second surface. The heating plate is attached to the second surface of the substrate to heat the substrate. The conducting plate is attached to the heating plate, and the heating plate is coved between the substrate and the conducting plate, wherein the area of the conducting plate is smaller than the area of the substrate, and an end of the conducting plate extends to the outer of the heating plate. The temperature sensing element is disposed at the end of the conducting plate extending to the outer of the heating plate to sense the temperature of the substrate through the conducting plate. The printing head module is disposed above the base and includes a printing head and at least one material spool. The printing head includes a plurality of assembling pieces assembled with each other to form the printing head and define a nozzle of the printing head. Each of the assembling pieces includes at least one material-supply groove. The material-supply grooves of any two adjacent assembling pieces are located corresponding to each other to form at least one material-supply channel together. Each material spool is connected to the material-supply channel for providing at least one fluid material to the material-supply channel. The fluid material is transmitted via the material-supply channel to be dispensed on the base.
