An electrically actuatable operating unit () for a motor vehicle brake comprises a housing body () which is arranged so as to be displaceable in a braking direction for operation of the motor vehicle brake, a recess () formed in the housing body (), wherein the recess () is delimited at one longitudinal end by a contact shoulder (), a through-opening () delimited by the contact shoulder (), an operating member () which is arranged in the recess () so as to be displaceable for operation of the motor vehicle brake and projects through the through-opening () of the contact shoulder (), wherein the operating member () can be arranged in a force-transmitting manner between a brake pedal and the motor vehicle brake (). The operating unit () further comprises a return spring () which is arranged in the recess () and is configured to move the operating member () relative to the housing body () away from the contact shoulder (), and a sleeve element () which circumferentially surrounds a portion of the operating member () at least partially and is held in contact with the contact shoulder () by the return spring (), and wherein the sleeve element () projects into the through-opening () in such a manner that it is arranged between the operating member () and an inner circumferential surface of the contact shoulder () that delimits the through-opening ().

A brake booster is comprised of an actuation unit, which can be coupled to a brake cylinder. The actuation unit is comprised of at least one actuation element that can be coupled to an electric motor via a transmission and at least one actuation element that can be coupled to a power input element. The actuation unit also includes at least one power transmission element that can be coupled to at least one actuation element in a power-transmitting manner, and at least one power take-up element that can be coupled or is coupled to an actuation detection device for the detection of an actuation of the electromechanical brake booster. The power take-up element can be coupled or is coupled to at least one actuation element. The power take-up element is configured to limit a relative movement of the actuation element relative to the power transmission element.

The disclosed electromechanical brake booster for a vehicle brake system comprises a driving arrangement for driving at least one actuation device designed to actuate a brake cylinder. The driving arrangement includes at least one electric motor and a gear mechanism for coupling the electric motor to the at least one actuation device. The gear mechanism comprises at least one first spur gear and at least one second spur gear, the electric motor driving the first spur gear directly and the second gear via at least one intermediate gear.

Electromechanical brake booster

The invention relates to an assembly for a vehicle brake system, which comprises at least one brake cylinder and an electromechanical brake booster, having a drive arrangement for driving at least one actuating device designed for actuating a brake cylinder, wherein the drive arrangement has at least one electric motor and a gear mechanism for coupling the electric motor to the at least one actuating device, wherein at least one fastening device is provided for fastening the assembly to a vehicle, said fastening device defining a fastening plane. According to the invention the rotary shaft of the electric motor is arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the actuating device and at an angle of between 60&#xb0; and 120&#xb0; to the fastening plane.

Assembly having a brake cylinder and an electromechanical brake booster

The electromechanical brake force booster for a vehicle brake system comprises a drive arrangement for driving at least one actuating device which is designed for actuating a brake cylinder. The drive arrangement has at least one electric motor and a gearing for coupling the electric motor to the at least one actuating device. The gearing comprises at least one second spur gear and at least one first spur gear. Furthermore, the gearing has an intermediate gearing stage. The intermediate gearing stage couples the electric motor to the second spur gear and to the first spur gear in torque-transmitting fashion. The intermediate gearing stage drives the second spur gear directly and the first spur gear via at least one intermediate gear.

Electromechanical brake force booster

A vacuum brake booster for a motor vehicle brake system, comprising a displaceable force input member that is coupled to or can be coupled to a brake pedal, a chamber arrangement arranged in a booster housing having at least one working chamber and at least one vacuum chamber, which are separated from one another via at least one movable wall, a control valve assembly that can be actuated by the force input member, and a force output member for transmitting an operating force to a downstream brake system. The at least one working chamber can be fluidically connected optionally to a negative pressure source or the atmosphere by way of the control valve assembly. The control valve assembly comprises a control valve housing, in which an actuating piston that is coupled with the force input member s displaceably arranged, and a first valve seat, and a second valve seat. Upon an actuation of the force input member, a throttle sleeve can be displaced from the initial position relative to the control valve housing by a predetermined functional path. During the displacement, the throttle sleeve is in abutment with the actuating piston such that a fluidic connection between the at least one working chamber and the ambient atmosphere by way of a throttle window is present. Upon exceeding the functional path, the throttle sleeve lifts off the actuating piston.

A brake force generator for a motor vehicle brake system, comprises a displaceable force input element connected or connectable to a brake pedal, a control valve actuable in accordance with a displacement of the force input element, a chamber arrangement disposed in a booster housing and controllable by the control valve and comprises at least one vacuum chamber and at least one working chamber, which are separated from one another by at least one movable wall connected to the control valve, and a force output element for supplying a brake force to a downstream brake system, wherein the control valve with the force output element is biased by a resetting spring into a normal position, wherein the resetting spring is supported by its one end against the control valve. In this brake force generator, for improving the assembly properties it is provided that a support ring is provided, against which the resetting spring is supported by its other end, wherein the support ring may be brought into supportive interaction with the booster housing.
