A fluid containment apparatus with a floor and a side wall is provided. A wall support is included that supports the side wall and can be moved between a supporting position and a collapsed position. The side wall is movable from a containment position to a collapsed state to allow access for vehicles or other objects to the floor. The wall support and side wall are subsequently movable back to their containment and supporting positions.

A fluid containment apparatus with a floor and a side wall is provided. A wall support is included that supports the side wall and can be moved between an initial supporting position and a collapsed position. The side wall is movable from an initial containment position to a collapsed state to allow access for vehicles or other objects to the floor. The wall support and side wall are subsequently movable back to their initial positions. In some arrangements, the wall support is movable back to the initial supporting position from the collapsed position but is not movable beyond the initial supporting position. Additionally or alternatively, in other embodiments the wall support remains in the collapsed position until a returning force is applied to move the wall support back.

Fluid containment apparatus

In an annular groove carried by one of a pair of reciprocally movable members, a piston ring is carried by the annular groove for sealing the reciprocally movable members for minimizing fluid leakage between the members. The piston ring is an annular member that includes an outer contact surface engagable with the sidewall, an opposed inner surface, an end gap that severs the annular member and that defines spaced-apart first and second ends of the annular member, and annular member tension-relieving notches formed in the inner surface of the annular member. The notches are spaced-apart along the length of the annular member between the first end and the second end, and each notch has a blunt notch tip for inhibiting crack propagation in the annular member from said blunt notch tip when the annular member is tensioned.

Liquid containment apparatus with flexible wall supports

A flexible lightweight drip berm comprising a pillow having an inner area which receives a hydrocarbon absorbing pad. A opening in the upper surface allows access to the pad and inner area. A retractable screen secures and protects the pad while allowing entry of hydrocarbon material. A lower pocket is provided to retain weighted material when necessary.
