Payment processing is described that uses two-portion tokens at a point-of-service. In one example, a service-provider computer receives a request to stage an order for a merchant computer from a customer mobile device. The service-provider computer generates a token having (1) a first portion encoded in the token representing first information not specific to the order including a designation of an overall fee to be provided by a customer including a payment to the merchant computer for the order and a portion of the overall fee to be provided to a point-of-service and (2) a second portion encoded in the token representing second information specific to the order. The token is transmitted to the mobile for display and payment at a point-of-service. The point-of-service confirms receipt of payment and of the token.

Payment processing with two-portion tokens at a point-of-service

Disclosed herein are systems and methods for converting barcodes to facilitate fast and convenient payments. In one embodiment, the systems and methods are for imaging a first barcode having a first barcode format; determining a second barcode format used at a point-of-service; converting the first barcode to a second barcode in the second format; and generating an image of the second barcode. In another embodiment, a service provider barcode-conversion system receives with a communications interface an image of a first barcode having a first barcode format from a customer; determines with a processor a second barcode format used at a point-of-service; generates with the processor an image of a second barcode in the second barcode format; generates with the processor a link between the first barcode and the second barcode; stores in memory the first barcode, the second barcode, and the link between the first barcode and second barcode; and transmits with the communications interface the image of the second barcode to the customer.

Systems and methods for barcode translation

A system, method and apparatus for payment processing using dynamic barcodes is provided. In an embodiment, a method is provided. The method includes receiving a request to stage an order, including information identifying a merchant. The method further includes determining current order information for the merchant. The method also includes producing a token identifier for the order. The token identifier includes an item code and a ticket identifier. The item code identifies or references an economic understanding for the order. Additionally, the method includes staging the order within a system to allow for completion of the order later in time. The order completes through notification of payment to a POS terminal by a consumer and fulfillment of the order by the merchant. The method further includes sending the token identifier to the merchant. The token identifier is to be provided to the consumer for use by the consumer in paying for the order at the POS terminal. The POS terminal is remote from the merchant.

Payment processing with dynamic barcodes

Provided in some embodiments is a method for conducting an honorary credit transaction. The method includes providing a system configured to provide honorary credit to a purchaser in exchange for an honorary commitment to provide payment for electronically transmittable item to one or more agents, wherein the honorary commitment comprises a non-legally binding commitment to provide a payment to the one or more agents for purchase of the electronically transmittable item, receiving a request from a first purchaser to provide a second purchaser honorary credit in exchange for an honorary commitment to provide payment for an electronically transmittable item to one or more agents, providing the second purchaser honorary credit in exchange for an honorary commitment to provide payment for the electronically transmittable item to one or more agents, providing the electronically transmittable item to the second purchaser via electronic transmission prior to receiving payment for the electronically transmittable item, and if a payment is received for the electronically transmittable item via at least one of the one or more agents, providing an incentive to the first purchaser.
