A Hardware Module for a robotic system includes at least one sensor for measuring an internal property of the Hardware Module, a communication unit for communicating with other Hardware Modules, a data storage unit and an embedded controller. The embedded controller is configured to collect collected data, the collected data including: status data representing the current status of the Hardware Module; and operating data representing usage of the Hardware Module wherein at least part of the collected data is determined from sensor data from the at least one sensor, and the embedded controller is configured to perform at least one of: storing the collected data on the data storage unit; and transmitting the collected data via the communication unit.

Hardware module for a robotic system, and mechanical coupling

Control equipment for generating a rotational travel motion from a rotational drive motion includes a drive shaft, an intermediate body, a reference body, and an output body that are movable relative to each other. The control equipment includes a first transmission and a second transmission, which is different from the first transmission. The first transmission transforms a rotational movement of the drive shaft relative to the reference body into a linear motion component of the intermediate body relative to the reference body, and the control equipment has a displacement line along which the intermediate body moves via the linear motion component of the intermediate body relative to the reference body. The second transmission transforms the linear motion component of the intermediate body relative into a rotational movement of the output body relative to the reference body.

Control equipment

A connection device for fluid lines has an annular or sleeve-shaped insert provided for assembly by plugging in a circularly cylindrical socket in a support component. The insert comprises an annular or sleeve-shaped cage element () in the form of a metal bent stamping with an annular support section () having several claw elements () and several support legs () extending from the support section in the same axial direction. The claw elements () serve for securing an inserted fluid line and the support legs () serve for supporting a preceding seal.

Connecting device for a fluid line

A fluid power linear drive has a drive housing () in which a housing chamber () is located containing at least one piston (). The drive housing possesses two housing parts (and) placed alongside each other, which at mutually facing joint faces (and) are provided with half chambers (and) constituted by elongated, groove-like recesses, which half chambers are united in a complementary fashion to form at least one housing chamber ().

Fluid-activated linear drive

A fluid power operated fluid power cylinder having a cylinder housing ( ) on whose rear side a control system housing ( ) is mounted. The control system housing ( ) contains a valve means and furthermore a electronic valve circuitry and/or electronic control circuitry as control components for the operation of the fluid power cylinder. Externally on the control system housing ( ) electrical connection means ( ) are provided for the supply of electrical control signals and fluid connection means ( ) for the supply of the operating fluid.

Working cylinder

A microvalve, which contains a valve member ( ) dividing a valve chamber ( ) into two chamber parts ( and ). A first chamber part ( ) is delimited by a duct layer ( ), which has an input flow opening ( ) and at least one output flow opening ( and ). Fluid transfer between the input flow opening ( ) and the output flow opening ( and ) may be controlled by the valve member ( ). Furthermore pressure relieving means are provided which are effective in the open position of the valve member ( ), such means comprising at least one expansion recess ( ) provided on the valve member and with at least partial overlap opposite to the output flow opening ( and ), same permitting an expansion of the transferring fluid. It is connected through valve member ( ) with the second chamber part ( ) so that a counter pressure may build up here causing the relief of pressure.

Microvalve

A drive device comprising a closed hydraulic circuit which has a hydraulic drive adapted to be actuated by hydraulic medium and has a hydraulic pump responsible for the supply and removal of the hydraulic medium to and from the hydraulic drive. For the operation of the hydraulic pump an electric motor is provided. The activation of the hydraulic drive is controlled by the operational state of the hydraulic pump.

Drive device

The invention provides a driving device comprising a tubular housing ( ) and a moving unit ( ) which is positioned on the housing ( ) in such a way that it can be moved lengthwise therein. Said moving unit ( ) comprises an internal part which is located in the housing ( ) and an external part which is located outside the housing ( ), both parts being magnetically coupled. The magnetic coupling creates a coupling device which produces at least one closed magnetic circuit ( ) via the outer part ( ) and which fully traverses the inner part ( ) and the housing ( ).

The description relates to an actuator for use at high and low temperatures, with a cylinder block ( ), a piston ( ) movable therein and a piston rod ( ) secured to the piston. A first and a second flange cover ( ) and a sleeve ( ) in the cylinder block ( ) in which the piston ( ) can move to and fro are made of ceramic. The piston rod ( ) is secured to the piston ( ), also of ceramic, by a head bearing ( ) movable transversely to the longitudinal axis of the piston. The seal between the piston ( ) and the sleeve ( ) is provided solely by a close fit, without the need for additional sealing components. The low thermal expansion of the ceramic components used also means that the tolerances change little even at great temperature fluctuations. The radial head bearing ( ) prevents the piston ( ) from jamming during forces transverse to the longitudinal axis of the piston possibly arising at the piston rod ( ).

Actuator

A microvalve array, which possesses a plurality of microvalves ( ) produced by microfabrication. It is furthermore provided with an electronic control means ( ), which comprises at least one function preset unit ( ) for the programmed grouped functional linking of the microvalves ( ). A fluid ducts system ( ) is connected with the microvalves ( ), the fluid ducts ( &prime;; and &prime;) of such system being individually connected for customization, starting with a standardized arrangement in a fashion dependent on the functional valve linking, predetermined by the function preset unit ( ) by opening and/or closing of passages.

Microvalve battery

A choke valve, whose choke body comprises a cylindrical choke position plunging coaxially into an inlet duct. The inlet flow duct is connected on the one hand with an inlet and on the other hand communicates through transfer openings with outlet flow ducts extending through the wall of the flow duct, such outlet flow ducts begin connected with the outlet. Between the choke piston and the inlet flow duct wall a seal area is provided, which on resetting the choke body is shifted axially and, cooperating with the transfer apertures, sets the aperture for the pressure medium.

Choke valve

A linear drive mechanism comprising a moveably guided output member (,). The output member (,) is guided on a supporting device (,) in a supporting area (,) of the housing (,). A position determining device (,) protrudes laterally from the output member (,). The position determining device moves along a position determining area (,) during the axial movement of the output member (,). The support device (,) extends only over part of the perimeter of the output member (,), wherein the output member (,) is exposed along a section of the perimeter so that an open space (,) is provided, thereby forming part of a position determining area (,) which can be traversed by the position determining element (,). This makes it possible to combine effective guidance with a compact linear drive design.

Linear drive mechanism

A servicing device for compressed air handling is proposed, which possesses a principal body (,) and a receiving shell (,) releaseably attached thereto by means of a bayonet connecting device (,). The rotary movement necessary for producing the bayonet connection of the receiving shell (,) is produced using a rotary drive means (,), which is arranged on a holding body (,), on which the receiving shell (,) is mounted in a rotary fashion. It is in this manner that simple mounting and removal of the receiving shell is rendered possible even when there is little space.

Servicing apparatus for treating compressed air

A circuit device for the regulation of the coil current flowing through a solenoid coil arrangement is proposed. It comprises a regulating means having a measuring arrangement for measuring the coil current and adapted to regulate the coil current in a manner dependent on the measured coil amperage, means for producing a attraction current, which regulated by clock pulse switching, flowing through the solenoid coil arrangement and a switching over means for reducing the coil current after elapse of an attraction time to a lower clock pulse switched hold current flowing until the end of a switch signal. The measuring arrangement is switched outside the freewheel circuit in which during the freewheel condition, existing in clock pulse switching intervals, of the solenoid coil arrangement the freewheel current flows. This means that the input voltage does not have to be adapted to the desired attraction current and the freewheel current does not produce any power loss in the measurement arrangement.

Circuit device

A rod-less linear drive whose housing (,) delimits an interior space (,), in which a drive part (,) is located. The housing (,) is provided with a slot-like longitudinal opening (,), which on either side is flanked by a housing limb (,and,). An entraining part (,) connected with the drive part (,) projects through the longitudinal opening (,) to the outside, where it is kinematically coupled with a slide (,).
