In the case of a height-adjustment device for a table () with three or more table legs () arranged in an edge region of the table, with respectively adjacent table legs () being connected to one another by a horizontal, hollow-profile connecting element (), each of the table legs () comprises a telescopic mechanism for changing a length of the table leg (), which mechanism can be adjusted by rotating a rotatably mounted adjusting element (). A plurality of coupling elements () are accommodated within the connecting elements () and are arranged in such a manner that each of the adjusting elements () of the table legs () is mechanically synchronized with the adjusting elements () of the adjacent table legs () by means of separate coupling elements ().

Height-adjustment device

An interlock for a stack of drawers. A pair of drawer slides mounts each drawer, the interlock assembly being fitted to the rear of one of the drawer slides. A housing has a plate slidably supported thereon biased towards the rear of the slide. An actuator having an actuating surface co-operates with an actuator follower slidably supported in the slide member for movement at right angles to the movement of the plate. Releasable latching means extends between the housing and plate. Releasable catching means extend between the plate and the actuator. When a drawer is moved towards an open position, the catching means causes the plate to move to a blocking position where it can be held by the latching means, causing the actuating surface to co-operate with a follower surface on the actuator follower to move the actuator follower from a first position to a blocking position.

Rear interlock

A device for opening or lifting a door (22) that hangs down by a hinge (23) with a horizontal swivel axis is characterized by an elbow lever mechanism, which is operated by means of a spring element (21) and which can additionally be folded down in the area of its dead point when the door (22) is still hanging or which is at its maximum force transfer when the door (22) is swivelled up. The door should preferably also be able to be folded down.

Door lifter

Device for swivel holding of leaf flap which can swivel especially around a horizontal axis comprises a straight four-bar mechanism (8.1, 8.2, 10.1, 11.1) and elastic means (18) to damp the swivel motion. The elastic means have spring element (18) which is guided with its extensible part to move around anchoring element (7). Anchoring element (7) is for example a plastic ring which is inserted in hinged frame (1) of device. Its diameter corresponds to a multiple of a diameter of spring element (18). The entire device is preferably structured symmetrically with respect to the plane defined by the movement of four-bar mechanism (8.1, 9.1, 10.1, 11.1).

A frame construction with several rod elements, which are connected at a node point by a node element (1) that has several holes (2.1, 2.3, . . . , 2.6) which are arranged on principal axes orthogonal to one another in pairs, distinguished in that a hole (2.2) is provided whose axis (s)--located in a plane defined by two principal axes (y, z)--is offset by preferably 15.degree., at most 20.5.degree., with respect to one of the two last-mentioned principal axes (y, z).

A connecting element for joining a structural part with an adjacent structural part has several sleeves (71, 72) provided with respectively one cutout (77) and one extension (74) wherein in each case the extension (74) of one sleeve (71, 72) engages into the cutout (77) of the other sleeve (71, 72). The sleeves (71, 72) are in contact with fitting clearance with an inner wall of a pipe (14) to be attached to a connector (13). A clamping screw (7) is threaded into a thread (9) of the connector (13) and thereby clamps the sleeves (71, 72) mutually in place, the extensions (74, 87) entering more deeply into the cutouts (77, 92) and thereby expanding the circumference of the sleeves (71, 72) until a fixed clamping of the sleeves (71, 72) against the inner wall is achieved. The sleeves (71, 72) are held in flush mutual contact by a serration. The unwound of the sleeves (71, 72) are punched out from steel strip and subsequently formed into cylindrical sleeves (71, 72). The connecting element (70) can be utilized in particular for producing shelves, sales booths, racks, and similar pipe constructions, as well as in the form of so-called expanding dowels wherein the undetachable interconnection of the sleeves (71, 72) with each other and with the clamping screw (7) permits a rapid and simply to be accomplished assembly.

Pins of the fastening element fit into holes provided at regular intervals on the center lines of concave edge portions of the panel. The angled edge of a locking cap slipped over the body of the fastening element and fixed to it by a screw locks the element to the edge portions. The locking cap may be dispensed with by using a screw, driven through a hole in the base plate of the panel, to secure the body of the fastening element to the panel. The fastening element and the panel ensure good stability and an attractive appearance.

A mechanism comprising two interlockable pivoting members is installed between two adjacent sliding compartments in such a way that withdrawal of one compartment causes the associated member to pivot and interlock with the other member, thereby securing the latter in a position in which a catch blocks the other compartment and prevents it from being withdrawn simultaneously.
