A cartridge valve is arranged to control a flow of a fluid within a fluid supply network of a cutting machine such as mining or drilling apparatus. The valve includes a main body that defines an internal chamber to accommodate a reciprocating piston and plunger operative to open and close the valve by axial sliding movement. An intermediate region of the chamber provides a fluid tight partition between a working fluid network and a supply fluid network.

In a cutting machine () with cutting heads or rollers () rotationally mounted on a pivotable cutting arm (), including a loading ramp or a conveyor () extending in the direction to the mine face for receiving and removing the cut material, wherein the cutting arm () is mounted on a carriage () displaceable on guides extending in the longitudinal direction of the machine, the carriage () carries guide rods () extending in the longitudinal direction of the machine and engaging in tubular guides () of the machine frame () carrying a chassis ().

The joint-pin modular unit for articulately connecting a fork-type or stirrup device () with a connecting eye embracing a joint pin () of the fork-type or stirrup device (), includes at least one seal () provided between the connecting eye and the pin, wherein the joint pin () is rotationally guided in bearing bushes () of the fork-type or stirrup device () and annular seals () are arranged between the connecting eye and the bearing bush end faces located adjacent to the connecting eye. The externally located end faces of the pin () are closed by covers () tightly covering the bearing bushes (), wherein the surface of the pin is surrounded by a lubricant film and at least one substantially axial bore (), and a plurality of radial bores () leading to the surface of the pin, are provided for the supply of lubricant.

Hinge bolt modular unit

In a method for introducing and blowing rock dust to bind carbon dust during advance working or coal mining using an advance working or mining machine, respectively, the cutting tools are retracted relative to a displaceable machine frame after having cut an outbreak or excavation. During the displacement of the machine frame into a new outbreak or excavation position, rock dust is blown onto the roof and lateral-wall surfaces laid bare by the cutting tools, through nozzles arranged on the machine frame by the aid of pressure medium such as compressed air. The advance working or mining machine used to carry out this method includes a displaceable machine frame and a carriage movably mounted on the machine frame and carrying a pivotable cantilever arm on which cutting heads or rolls are rotationally mounted, and a loading device intended to receive cut or broken material. At least one nozzle for atomizing rock dust is arranged on the displaceable machine frame and at least one storage bin and a compressed-air source are arranged on the advance working or mining machine.

Method for introducing and blowing rock dust and device for carrying out said method

A method and device for drilling and setting adhesive anchor bolts close to the mine face during the cutting operation of a tunneling or mining machine which is capable of being displaced on a traveling mechanism and includes a cutting cylinder or cutting head rotationally mounted on a cantilever arm pivotable in a vertical direction, and optionally in a horizontal direction. The method is carried out in a manner where the substantially horizontal forward movement of the cantilever arm at break-in cutting is detected and a signal is generated during break-in cutting to block commencement of a working cycle for drilling and anchoring. A controller () for excavation of material on the mine face is networked with a controller () for actuation of the anchor drilling and setting device () via radio, electrical or optical lines ().

Method for boring and placing bolts for imbedding adhesively and device for carrying out this method

In a driving or mining machine including cutter rolls or drums which are mounted for rotation on a cantilever arm pivotable in the vertical direction, bearings and/or gears are arranged in the axial direction of the cutter rolls or drums between parts of the rolls or drums. The bearings and/or gears are connected with the cantilever arm or an actuating means provided in the cantilever arm. At least one stationary cutter bit is arranged on the cantilever arm in the region of the bearings and/or gears between neighboring parts of the rolls or drums in a plane through which the axis of the cantilever arm passes. The cutter bit has at least two cutting edges, a first cutting edge being provided substantially tangential to the enveloping curve of the rotating bits in the direction of the axis of the cantilever arm and a second cutting edge being provided so as to enclose an angle with the first cutting edge.
