The present invention is directed to a Universal Power Platform (UPP) that powers the pump or pumps that may not be on the platform but that are in a skid subsea near the pipeline for a desired pre-commissioning method to be carried out, such as cleaning, filling, chemical treating, pigging, hydrostatic testing or dewatering the pipeline. The UPP is suspended from a vessel by an umbilical that provides the electric power for running the selected pump(s). The Power Platform also is used as a testing system for control umbilicals that usually are near the pipelines.

Universal power and testing platform

The present invention is directed to a Universal Pumping Platform (UPP) that comprises a platform containing an electric motor that drives a hydraulic pump for producing high pressure hydraulic fluid and one or more pumps powered by the hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic pump. The pump is selected for the desired commissioning method to be carried out, such as filling, chemical treating, pigging, hydrostatic testing or dewatering the pipeline. The UPP is suspended from a vessel by an umbilical that provides the electric current for the electric motor supported by the UPP.

Universal pump platform

The present invention is directed to a contemporary beverage dispenser, especially suited as a baby bottle, comprising a solid connector that has an upper portion and a lower portion and a plastic bag connected to the lower portion. The uniqueness of the combination of the connector and bag is that the connector is designed to fit on the lip of a conventional baby bottle with the bag in the bottle or is used without a bottle. When used without a bottle, a compression ring is used to connect a head, such as a nipple, to the beverage dispenser of the present invention.

Baby bottle/beverage device

The present invention is directed to a a connector having a neck member that is connected to a beverage bag. The connector may have a variety of caps for dispensing the beverage. More specifically, the present invention is directed to a disposable/recyclable baby bottle. The bag in this embodiment holds water in one compartment and baby formula in a second compartment.

Beverage device

The present invention is directed to a dispenser having a plastic bag with two compartments, one containing liquid and the other solid, and a connector having a neck member that holds the bag. The bag has a sealed seam which is easily rupturable separating said compartments. The connector may have a variety of caps for dispensing the mixed liquid and solid. More specifically, the present invention is directed to a disposable/recyclable baby bottle. The bag in this embodiment holds water in one compartment and baby formula in a second compartment.

Disposable/recyclable beverage device

The present invention is directed to iron sensors. Immobilized in close proximity of the potential or pH measuring surface of a proton sensing device, minute quantities of an iron chelator such as siderophores or transferring cause detectable variation of the potential or pH upon the binding of iron. The sensing devices for measuring this change in potential or pH include the iron chelator-modified ion-selective field effect transistors (IC-ISFET) and/or pH indicator papers of the present invention.

Iron detecting sensors

The present invention is directed to a method for making service connection to polyethylene replacement sewer pipe. Specifically, the method involves the steps of (1) locating the service; (2) excavating an opening less than two feet in diameter from the surface to the polyethylene replacement pipe at the service; (3) introducing a fusing apparatus on top of the polyethylene pipe and fusing a stack to the polyethylene pipe; and (4) drilling a opening into the polyethylene pipe through the fused stack. Before drilling the opening into the polyethylene pipe, the stack may be tested to make certain that there are no leaks in the fusing step and that the stack is securely connected to the polyethylene pipe.
