A removable manifold for use with an air compressor unit having a main feed hose for dispensing compressed air, the manifold including a body, a hub disposed on the body defining a hub chamber, an inlet disposed on the body, the inlet defining an inlet chamber in fluid communication with the hub chamber, and the inlet being configured to engage the main feed hose, thereby providing fluid communication between the air compressor unit and the hub chamber, and an outlet disposed on the body, and defining an outlet chamber in fluid communication with the hub.

An air compressor utilizing an electronic control system. A pneumatically controlled regulator is provided for controlling output pressure for an air compressor. Digital gauges are provided on the air compressor to replace conventional mechanical gauges. A variable speed motor is used, which in turn varies the speed of the pump. Tools are provided for an air compressor that are capable of transmitting a signal to the air compressor indicating a desired pressure and/or motor speed at which the air compressor is to operate.

Air compressor

An air compressor having a cooling fan that cools both a pump and an electric motor. Baffle compress air against the top of the motor, causing it to break up and flow around fours sides of the motor and through the motor. The pump includes an elongate intake tube or muffler that attenuates pump intake noise. A compressor tank for the air compressor includes a roll cage for protecting a condensate valve for the compressor tank. The compressor tank includes a rim base formed on the bottom of the compressor tank that permits the compressor tank to rest on a surface without additional supports or legs. Controls and gauges are mounted in the bottom clamshell piece, and openings on a top fit around the controls and gauges. The top and the bottom are aligned with guides so that the controls and gauges may be properly aligned with the openings.
