The disclosure relates to a connecting assembly, more particularly for being used in the driveline of a motor vehicle. The connecting assembly comprises a housing and a driving gear. The housing comprises a first housing part with a first flange portion and a second housing part with a second flange portion. The driving gear comprises a receiving portion for receiving the housing and a supporting face which laterally delimits the receiving portion, wherein the first flange portion of the first housing part is axially arranged between the supporting face of the driving gear and the second flange portion of the second housing part, and wherein the second flange portion is welded to the driving gear. A method of producing a connecting assembly is also disclosed.

An axial setting device includes two discs which are centered on a common axis. One is axially supported and the other one is axially displaceable, and at least one is rotatingly drivable. The two discs on their end faces, each have a plurality of circumferential ball grooves. The ball grooves each comprise a depth which decreases in the same direction, and each pair of opposed ball grooves accommodates a ball. At least the ball grooves of one of the two discs, starting from the region of the greatest groove depth, comprise a first groove portion with a greater pitch and an adjoining second groove portion with a smaller pitch, wherein the first groove portion extends over a smaller circular-arch-shaped portion than the second groove portion.

An assembly for measuring force at a friction coupling, more particularly in the driveline of a motor vehicle. The assembly includes an outer plate carrier () at which outer plates () are held so as to be rotationally secured and in a way so as to be axially displaceable, wherein at least one of the outer plates () comprises an outer cam (); an inner plate carrier () at which inner plates () are held in a rotationally fast way and in a way so as to be axially displaceable; wherein the outer plates () and the inner plates () are arranged so as to alternate in the axial direction, while jointly forming a plate package (); a force measuring device arranged in such a way that, upon actuation of the friction coupling (), it is loaded by the cam () in an operating direction extending at a distance from, and transversely to, the longitudinal axis (A).

Assembly for determining torque at a friction coupling

A friction coupling assembly includes: a ball ramp assembly () with two coaxial discs (), wherein the faces () of the two discs () each have ball grooves () of increasing depth, wherein pairs of opposed ball grooves hold balls to axially support the two discs (); a plate package () arranged coaxially relative to the discs () and having outer plates () for fixing to a coupling carrier () and inner plates () for fixing to a coupling hub (); and a plate spring () for introducing force into the plate package (), the plate spring () is arranged coaxially relative to the discs (), is axially pretensioned and, functionally, is arranged in series with the plate package ().

A drive module () for a variable torque distribution in the driveline of a motor vehicle. The drive module () has a first shaft () rotatably supported relative to a stationary housing (); a second shaft () which is drivingly connected to the first shaft (); and a transmission stage () arranged in the torque flow between the first and second shafts (). The transmission stage () has at least one planetary gear () and a rotating carrier element (). A coupling () serves to couple the carrier element () relative to the housing (). When coupled, torque transmission occurs from one of the first or second shaft (), to the other one of the two shafts. The housing (), the first shaft (), the second shaft (), the transmission stage () and the coupling () form part of a unit adapted to attach to a drive ().

Drive module for a variable torque distribution

An axial setting device having two discs () which are rotatable relative to one another, which are supported coaxially relative to one another and between which there are guided balls () in pairs of ball grooves () whose depth varies across the circumference. One of the discs () is axially supported and one is axially displaceable against elastic returning forces of first spring (). At least one of the discs can be driven by a motor () via a gear drive. During the return movement of the discs () after the balls () have reached their end position in the ball grooves, which end position is defined by the greatest groove depth, a second spring permits overshooting of the drivable disc () together with the disc () supported with respect to rotation against elastic returning forces of the second spring.
