A method for producing stator packs for long-stator linear motors of magnetic levitation vehicles is described. At first steel sheets are stacked to form a sheet stack, cross members are inserted into grooves of the sheet stack and the sheet stack and the cross members are connected with each other to form a solid structural unit. Further it is provided to so insert the structural unit into an open-top casting mold that the cross members are laid onto rims of the casting mold by means of head parts provided at their ends and are positioned by means of positioning pins provided at said ends. Afterwards the filling of the casting mold with a casting resin mixture takes place, advantageously pressureless, for the formation of a corrosion protection layer surrounding the sheet stack. After the hardening of the casting resin mixture the finished stator pack can be removed from the casting mold.

Adducts obtainable by reacting (a) an epoxy resin having a OH value of 0.02-1.5 equivalents/kg and (b) a di- or polyisocyanate, said reaction being carried out with exclusion of moisture and essentially without a catalyst, can subsequently be converted by reaction with an inhibitor (c), preferably an acrylate, into storage-stable adducts. The adducts can be cured in the presence of a latent hardener conventionally used for EP/IC resin systems in a weakly exothermic reaction to give crosslinked products which have excellent properties.

In a method of checking the gelling process after pouring a reactive resin system into a production mould, the gelling behavior of a resin system is detected by means of calibration measurements and stored. Temperature patterns of the resin system are detected and, for each temperature pattern, the temperature at which the gelling point lies is determined. A scalar value and the gelling moment temperature are associated with each temperature pattern. On carrying out a checking measurement inside a production mould, the temperature patterns at various sites inside the production mould are detected using a large number of thermocouples. Scalar values are obtained from the temperature patterns and are compared with the scalar values established during the calibration measurement in order to establish gelling moment temperatures. The particular advantage of the method described is that the checking measurement of a production mould requires the use only of thermocouples and not of gelling point probes.

Polymerizable liquid synthetic resins, liquid reactive constituents of synthetic resins or liquid additives for plastics, in each case containing mineral fillers, are converted to dry, pourable mixtures by mixing with 0.25-5% by weight of a crystalline synthetic calcium silicate, which can be in diverse stages of hydration and has a high length/width ratio and width dimensions of less than 1 .mu.m, it being possible, by this means, to employ the resins not only as casting resins but also as compression moulding resins and adhesives. In addition, handling and processability are improved.

Polysiloxanes containing hydroxyl groups are manufactured by reacting polysiloxanes, which have been (so-called) advanced with polyols and which contain alkoxy groups, with aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diols in the presence of a catalyst at elevated temperatures. The new polysiloxanols can be used as modifiers for organic resins such as urethane resins or epoxide resins, and give flexible, hydrophobic plastics having valuable mechanical properties.

Polysiloxanes containing hydroxyl groups are manufactured by reacting polysiloxanes containing alkoxy groups with aliphatic or cycloaliphatic-alipatic diols in the presence of a catalyst at elevated temperatures. The new polysiloxanols can be used as modifiers for organic resins, such as urethane resins or epoxide resins, and give flexible hydrophobic plastics having valuable mechanical properties.
