A header for a heat exchanger, which comprises a plurality of flat tubes arranged in a longitudinal direction. The header has a bottom and a lid. The bottom has a plurality of openings for coupling the header to the plurality of flat tubes. The lid is arranged opposite of the bottom and connected to the lid, at least at the edges extending in the longitudinal direction, in a fluid-tight manner. The lid has a plurality of transverse channels on a side facing the bottom, which are arranged opposite of the plurality of openings, and a longitudinal channel extending in the longitudinal direction.

Header for a condenser

A heat exchanger having at least one collecting tank which extends in a longitudinal direction and which comprises a plate and a cover, wherein the plate has, at least one of its edge regions running in the longitudinal direction, a rim by means of which the plate engages at the outside over an edge region, which runs in the longitudinal direction, of the cover, or wherein the cover has, at least one of its edge regions running in the longitudinal direction, a rim by means of which the cover engages at the outside over an edge region, which runs in the longitudinal direction, of the plate. The respective rim have, in the longitudinal direction, a multiplicity of calked portions by means of which said rim, in the region of each individual calked portion, is deformed in the plate and the cover to one another.

Heat exchanger

The invention relates to a condenser for an air conditioning system, especially an air conditioning system of a vehicle, said condenser comprising a gill block and laterally arranged headers, the gill block comprising horizontal pipes, a condensing section and a supercooling section arranged above the condensing section. Said condenser also comprises a collector () arranged parallel to one of the headers and receiving a drier (), a filter (), a downpipe () and a rising pipe. The collector () is connected to the condensing section by means of a first overflow opening () and to the supercooling section by means of a second overflow opening () in such a way that a coolant can circulate. The downpipe () communicates with the first overflow opening (), on the inlet side, by means of an inflow chamber () arranged in the collector ().

Condenser for an air conditioning system, especially an air conditioning system of a vehicle

The invention relates to a heat exchanger (), in particular, a gas cooler for a vehicle air-conditioning unit, comprising several flat tubes () arranged in two or more parallel rows, a collector tube (), with one or more longitudinal separating walls (), running along the longitudinal axis of the collector tube (), dividing the collector tube () into two or more collector channels, whereby the collector tube () is embodied from two metal sheets () and openings () are provided in at least one of the metal sheets (), for accommodating the ends of the flat tubes (). Each longitudinal separating wall () is provided with tongue-like projections (), arranged in grooves () in at least one of the metal sheets () and fixed on the outer side of the metal sheet ().

The invention relates to a condenser for an air-conditioning system, particularly for a motor vehicle, with vertically arranged tubes, through which a coolant can flow and which are connected to an upper and a lower horizontally arranged manifold whereby permitting the flow of coolant. The inventive condenser also comprises a collector parallelly arranged underneath the lower manifold and, via an inflow opening and an outflow opening, between which a separating device is placed, is connected to the manifold in a manner that permits the flow of coolant. The collector accommodates a filtering and/or drying device. The separating device has a suction device for, in essence, liquid coolant.

Condenser for an air-conditioning system, particularly for a motor vehicle

The invention relates to a heat exchanger, especially a gas cooler for CO2, embodied as a cooling agent. The heat exchanger comprises at least one two-part collector unit made of a base and a cover. Said collector unit consists of flat pipes and at least two longitudinal channels with an essentially circular cross-section. The ends of the flat pipes and the base comprise openings for receiving the ends of the pipes. The base, cover and flat pipes are soldered together.

A heat exchanger () consists of a plurality of disks () which are assembled to form a heat exchanger block or disk stack () and which are formed in each case from sheets () joined together in pairs and enclose between them at least one cavity designed as a duct. The cavity is delimited by the insides of the sheets (). In the duct, an internal fluid flows in the longitudinal direction of the disks () and, on the outside of the disks, an external fluid flows transversely to the direction of flow of the internal fluid. Each sheet () has elevations () out of the disk plane, which are formed by material deformation and are directed both into the inside of the disk and toward the outside of the disk, the elevations () directed toward the outside of the disk being configured as elongate stamped-out portions.

In a brazed condenser for an air conditioner, a collecting tube connected with a collector is prefabricated as a one-piece tube. The collecting tube is connected by tack weld seams with the collector before brazing the collecting tube and the collector together.
