The invention relates to a texturing device () for texturing at least one continuous yarn consisting of a plurality of filaments. This texturing device () has at least one housing () and at least one nozzle core (), which can be charged with a fluid. The nozzle core () includes a yarn channel () and at least one fluid feed channel (), opening into the yarn channel with a radial component. Furthermore, the nozzle core () includes an outlet region () of the yarn channel () and an inlet region () with an inlet opening () of the yarn channel (). The distance between the inlet opening () of the inlet region () and the fluid feed channel () of the nozzle core () opening into the yarn channel () is at most 12.5 mm. The region (), which is located ahead of the inlet region () of the nozzle core () in the direction of filament movement, has a radial outer delimiting area (). This lies outside a cone of 20&#xb0; narrowing in the direction of filament movement. The outer delimiting area () preferably lies outside a cone of 30&#xb0;.

Texturing device and method for texturing continuous yarns

The invention relates to a method for the texturing of endless yarn by means of a texturing nozzle having a continuous yarn duct into which compressed air at a pressure higher than 4 bar is blown in the direction of the yarn conveyance, whereby the yarn duct is preferably conically widened at the outlet end with a widening angle larger than 10&#xb0; for generating a supersonic flow. The invention furthermore relates to a texturing nozzle for the texturing of endless yarn with a continuous yarn duct having an inlet end, a central, preferably cylindrical portion with an air supply orifice as well as a preferably conical outlet end with a widening angle larger than 10&#xb0;, but smaller than 40&#xb0;.

Texturing nozzle and method for the texturing of endless yarn

A method and machine for treating yarn may include feeding the yarn through both a heat treatment and an air jet texturing nozzle. The texturing nozzle may be supplied with compressed air, producing an air jet with a speed greater than Mach in the yarn channel. The heat treatment may be performed before and/or after feeding the yarn through the texturing nozzle.

Method for air-bubble texturing endless filament yarn, yarn finishing device and its use

The device has a guide body (1) with a through bore, which exhibits an outlet opening (3). A needle body contains a through yarn channel, which is coaxially aligned with the bore of guide body (1). One end of the needle body extends into a conical inlet section of the guide body bore and forms, with it, a passage gap for the blowing air. The blowing air is introduced by two feed bores (11, 12) into the annular space in front of the passage gap. An impact body (9) is placed in the area of outlet opening (3). A yarn (FT), coming from outlet opening (3), is deflected in front of impact body (9) from a median plane (M), which contains the axis of the guide body bore point (A) described by the intersection of a median plane (M), a plane (E) parallel to the axis of the guide body bore and perpendicular to plane (M) and located in such a way that the cross sectional areas of the medium feed bores on opposite sides of said plane (E) are equal, and a plane perpendicular to said axis and including the mouths by which the medium feed bores (11, 12) empty into an annular space in the conical inlet section (7). As a result the textured yarn becomes more compact and has only small uniformly distributed projecting loops.
