The invention relates to a composition for dressing cutaneous lesions, in particular cutaneous leishmanial lesions or cutaneous lesions due to actinic keratosis, comprising, based on the total weight of the composition:&#x2014;10.0 weight percent to 35 weight percent of a one or more diols, selected from the group comprising 1,2-propylene glycol, 1,2-pentanediol, 1,3-butanediol and 2,2'-[Ethane-1,2-diylbis(oxy)]di(ethan-1-ol),&#x2014;2.0 weight percent to 20 weight percent of at least one first film-forming agent, selected from one or more of a cellulose derivative, hemicellulose, a hemicellulose derivative, chitosan, a chitosan derivative, or oligoglucosamines,&#x2014;0.2 to 25.0 weight percent of at least one elastic second film-forming agent, selected from one or more thickening agents,&#x2014;0.2 to 25.0 weight percent of one or more polymeric surfactants,&#x2014;0.005 to 0.5 weight percent chlorate-free chlorite,&#x2014;water adding up to 100.0 weight percent.

The invention relates to a method of manufacture of fast-disintegrating solid dosage forms, characterized in that one or more structure building components in mixed solid powder form are dosed into cavities of blister packs or moulds, the remaining components dissolved in water dosed and added to the powder to form a moistened, plasticized mass, frozen to below &#x2212;20&#xb0; C., and the water sublimed in high vacuum. In this way solid dosage forms are obtained with a similar porous structure as usually result from freeze drying processes, but the process requires much less water, which means considerably less time and less energy.

The invention relates to a one-pot mixer/granulator/dryer constituting a single step or one-pot production apparatus for successively mixing, moist-granulating and drying solid pharmaceutical products, for example in the manufacture of powdered products, pellets or granules. The dryer according to the invention has a substantially improved drying performance compared with conventional production equipment. The high efficiency of drying is achieved by the simultaneous use of four different drying mechanisms. The invention also relates to a process for successively mixing, moist-granulating and drying in the manufacture of solid pharmaceutical products, particularly pharmaceutical granules, in which the necessary mixing operations, moist-granulation and subsequent drying operation are carried out in one container and drying is effected using a combination of contact, vacuum, flushing air and infrared drying with the aid of an electrically heated ceramic infrared panel radiator mounted outside the dryer or an electrically heated quartz tube radiator.
