A fiber management tray () is disclosed. The fiber management tray () can have a body () including a bottom wall () with side walls () extending outwardly from the bottom wall (). The fiber management tray () can include a termination region () that has a first side () and a second side (). The termination region () includes a termination panel () that holds connectors (). The fiber management tray () can include a hinge area () for mounting said tray () to a tray tower () and a storage basket () located between the termination region () and the hinge area (). The storage basket () can include a first pocket () that communicates with the second side () of the termination region () and an opposite second pocket () that communicates with the first side () of the termination region (). The fiber management tray () can define at least one fiber routing path on each of the first and second pockets () of the storage basket (). The fiber management tray () can define a fiber transition opening () for transitioning optical fibers between the second pocket () of the storage basket () and first side () of the termination region (). The fiber transition opening () can have an access structure for allowing optical fibers to be inserted into the fiber transition opening ().

Universal cable attachments for securing a cable in a secured position utilize a pair of counter-rotating lobes or one lobe and a counter surface to clamp against the cable. The lobes are configured such that they can accept a variety of cable diameters, thus eliminating the need for the provision of multiple sizes of unique cable attachments in certain applications. The lobes are configured such that they provide little or no resistance to a cable being inserted in an insertion direction and such that they lock against the cable when the cable is pulled in the opposite direction. The lobes may have eccentrically oriented tapered channels to accomplish the clamping function The lobes may include a plurality of differently sized plates to accomplish the clamping function.

Universal cable attachment

A clamp assembly includes a first clamp half-piece and a second clamp half-piece. In one example, the clamp half-pieces are identically shaped. In one example, each of the clamp half-pieces has at least one integral pin and at least one aperture. The first and second clamp half-pieces are pivotally connected to each other via a first snap-fit interface in which the integral pin of the first clamp half-piece snap-fits into the at least one aperture of the second clamp half-piece. The clamp assembly can also include a link arm connected to the first clamp half-piece via a second snap-fit interface. A lever arm can also be included that is pivotally connected to the link arm via a third snap-fit interface. The clamp assembly does not require separate link pins or other parts and only includes four components: the clamp half-pieces, the link arm, and the lever arm.

The present disclosure relates to enclosures such as optical termination enclosures for telecommunications networks. The enclosures can include housings for accommodating fiber pass-through cables and drop cables. In one example, the enclosure can include tethers having ruggedized fiber opt connectors for coupling to the drop cables or any other cable. The present disclosure also relates to a tether assembly that can include an overmold that anchors strength members to a cable jacket of the tether assembly.
