The present invention relates to a set of interchangeable crimp units for a crimping machine. According to the invention each crimp unit comprises an integrated sensor for measuring a crimping force or a crimping displacement during the crimping process.

Set of interchangeable crimp units

The invention relates to a stripping tool, in particular stripping pliers. The stripping tool is here used for a multi-wired cable. According to the invention two pairs of stripping blades are used in the stripping tool. The two pairs of stripping blades are moved in preferably parallel planes () besides one another. According to the invention it is possible to simultaneously strip the insulations of e.g. four conductors of a four-wired cable.

Stripping tool and method for stripping

The invention relates to crimping pliers (). The crimping pliers comprise a spring element () which is located in the force flow between hand levers () and dies (). The spring element () builds a force-displacement-compensation element () which provides the option to be able to crimp workpieces with different cross-sectional areas with the crimping pliers (). According to the invention, the spring element () which builds the force-displacement-compensation element () is built in the region of the pliers head () of the crimping pliers (). Preferably, the spring element () is a spring in the shape of an arc of a circle or a spiral spring () which extends in circumferential direction around the die axis ().

The inventions relates to crimping pliers with two hand levers () and two actuation elements () located in the region of a pliers head (). The actuation elements () actuates dies () between which a workpiece can be crimped. A toggle lever drive () with two toggle levers () which build a toggle lever angle () acts between the hand levers () and the actuation elements (). One toggle lever () is built by a roller () which is pivotably mounted to the hand lever (). The roller () rolls along a curved track () fixed at the other hand lever (). A forced locking unit () is built with a toothed latching lever () which is supported for being rotated relatively to the roller (). A lever part () of the toothed latching lever () is coupled by a sliding guide to the hand lever (), whereas the other lever part () of the toothed latching lever () forms a toothing () for latching of the forced locking unit ().

The present invention relates to crimping pliers in particular used for forming at least three recesses at a contact element housing an electrical conductor. The inventive crimping pliers () comprise a toggle lever drive (). The toggle lever drive () is built with an elastic pressure lever (). The pressure lever () is preferably built with an offset or cranking () so that with the application of a longitudinal force the pressure lever () is biased by a bending. The flexible design of the pressure lever () provides a variable crimping stroke (in particular also in connection with a forced locking mechanism ()) for different dimensions of the contact elements to be crimped.

The present invention relates to a B-shaped crimping die for a crimping tool. The crimping tool and the crimping die are used for crimping a plug with an electrical cable located therein into a B-shape. The crimping die comprises a first crimping die half and a second crimping die half. A B-shaped crimping contour is defined by the crimping die halves in a closed state. A first crimping contour part of the first crimping die half and a second crimping contour part of the second crimping die half together build the crimping contour. Two transition points are located at the transitions between the two crimping contour parts. According to the invention an opening angle of a contour of the second crimping die half increases at said transition points in moving direction of the first crimping die half during the crimping process.

The present invention relates to a pliers head for crimping pliers. The pliers head comprises at least two dies for crimping a connector. A locator comprises at least one nest. The nest is configured and designed for housing the connector. According to the invention, the nest has a width which is at least as large as the distance between a first die and an adjacent second die of the pliers head. The locator has two crimping states: In a first crimping state, the nest is located at a predetermined position aligned with the first die. In the second crimping state, the nest or another nest of the locator is located at a predetermined position aligned with the second die.

The present invention relates to crimping pliers for crimping a workpiece. The crimping pliers comprise two hand levers. At the crimping pliers a first tool builds a crimping tool and comprises two crimping jaws located at a head of the pliers. The crimping jaws are linked by a transfer mechanism with the two hand levers. The invention suggests providing a second tool. The second tool comprises a working area, wherein the working area is located between the two hand levers. The second tool is solely mounted with a first hand lever of the two hand levers. The second hand lever comprises a contact surface cooperating with a contact surface of the second tool. The contact of the two contact surfaces is used for transferring an activating force from the hand levers to the second tool.

The present invention relates to pliers for removing an insulating layer of an electrical cable, in particular a coaxial cable. The inventive pliers comprise a cutting element. The distance of the cutting element from a seat for the cable is adjustable. Furthermore, the cutting element has a degree of freedom in a circumferential direction of the coaxial cable relative to the seat.

The present invention relates to crimping pliers designed and arranged for manually crimping a work piece. Such crimping pliers comprise two manually operated hand levers coupled by a transfer mechanism with two crimping jaws. A closing mechanism is designed and arranged for being operated independent on said hand levers. Upon activation of the closing mechanism the crimping jaws are moved from an open state in a partial movement in a further closed starting state. The crimping jaws are secured in the starting state against returning into said open state. Starting from said starting state the crimping jaws are movable in an additional partial movement towards each other upon manipulation of the hand levers.

The present invention relates to a head of crimping pliers for crimping a work piece. The head comprises two inserts. Each insert builds at least two halves of at least two nests for the work piece. The inserts are guided along a guiding axis for a sliding movement between a first and second relative position. The guiding axis is directed transverse to the crimping axis. Two nests built by the halves might be used in one and the same position by moving the inserts from the first to the second relative position.

The present invention relates to crimping pliers for crimping a work piece. The crimping pliers comprise two hand levers. The hand levers are linked with tools or dies for applying a crimping movement upon the work piece. The dies are housed in a head of the crimping pliers. A locator has a pivoting degree of freedom with respect to the head around a pivoting axis which has an orientation parallel to a main extensional plane of said head and transverse to the degree of freedom of the dies during the crimping process. The locator comprises an activating element with an extension being designed and arranged such that said extension is located in the access area of a finger of a hand of a user of said pliers gripping or contacting the hand levers.

Pliers for pressing work pieces such as mountings, electric contacts, cable lugs and fittings include a first hand lever and a second hand lever. The hand levers are movable with respect to one another. The pliers also include a head and at least two pressing jaws being located in the region of the pliers head and approaching one another during a working stroke of the pressing pliers to press a work piece. The working stroke includes a first partial stroke and a second partial stroke. The pliers also include a first transfer mechanism and second transfer mechanism.
