A light-emitting substrate and a repair method thereof are provided. The light-emitting substrate includes a substrate, a first conductive line, a second conductive line, a signal line, an insulating layer, first to third light-emitting devices, and a first sub-conductive line. The first and second conductive lines and the signal line are disposed on the substrate. The insulating layer is disposed on the first and second conductive lines. The first to third light-emitting devices are disposed on the substrate. The first light-emitting device is disposed corresponding to the first conductive line. The second light-emitting device is disposed corresponding to the second conductive line. The first to third light-emitting devices are disposed corresponding to the signal line. The first sub-conductive line is disposed on the insulating layer. The first sub-conductive line is overlapped with the first and second conductive lines. The third light-emitting device is disposed corresponding to the first sub-conductive line.

Light-emitting substrate and repair method thereof

A light emitting diode panel including a first substrate, a second substrate and a plurality of display units is provided. The display units are disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. One display unit has multiple first regions and a second region surrounded by the first regions and includes multiple first light emitting diodes, multiple control signal lines and a second light emitting diode. Every N first light emitting diodes construct one pixel unit located within one of the first regions, wherein N is an integer greater than 1. The control signal lines are disposed on the first substrate and each extends toward one first light emitting diode. The second light emitting diode is disposed on the first substrate, located within the second region, and surrounded by the first regions. The second light emitting diode is electrically connected to one of the control signal lines.

Light emitting diode panel and manufacturing method thereof

A dual-sided display is disclosed, including a substrate, a first active device, a first micro light emitting device, a patterned photoresist layer, a reflective electrode, a second micro light emitting device, a protective layer, and a first conductive electrode. The first micro light emitting device is disposed on the substrate and electrically connected to the first active device. The patterned photoresist layer is disposed on the substrate and covers a portion of the first micro light emitting device. The reflective electrode covers the patterned photoresist layer and a portion of the substrate. The second micro light emitting device is disposed on the reflective electrode. The protective layer covers the reflective electrode and a portion of the second micro light emitting device. The first conductive electrode covers the protective layer and is electrically connected to the second micro light emitting device.

Dual-sided display and method for fabricating the same

A display device includes a substrate, a first light emitting element, and a second light emitting element. The substrate includes at least one pixel area. The first light emitting element and the second emitting element are disposed in the pixel area. The first light emitting element emits light of a first color and has a first luminous efficiency-injection current density function. The second light emitting element emits light of a second color and has a second luminous efficiency-injection current density function, intersected with the first luminous efficiency-injection current density function to define a critical transform current density. The light of the first color and the light of the second color have a same color system.

Display device and method for controlling the same

A flexible environmental sensitive electronic device package including a flexible electronic device, a thin film encapsulation (TFE) and a sealing member is provided. The TFE covers the flexible electronic device as well as the sealing member covers the TFE and the flexible electronic device. The sealing member includes a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion covers the flexible electronic device and the TFE, and the second portion covers the first portion. Young's modulus of the second portion is between the 0 MPa and 100 MPa. Young's modulus of the first portion is greater than that of the second portion. The thickness of the first portion is less than that of the second portion.

Package of flexible environmental sensitive electronic device and sealing member

According to embodiments of the disclosure, a flexible electronic device is provided. The flexible electronic device includes a flexible substrate, at least one component and at least one stress buffer. The component may be disposed on the flexible substrate and having a lateral surface. The stress buffer may be disposed adjacent to the lateral surface of the component and has a stiffness which is getting larger toward the component.

Flexible electronic device

A display device including a first substrate, a second substrate, a display element layer, a non-transparent structure, an optical guiding structure and a reflective layer is disclosed. The second substrate is disposed opposite to the first substrate adjacent to a display surface of the display device. The display element layer is disposed between the first and the second substrates. The non-transparent structure, located between the optical guiding structure and the display element layer, defines at least one opening of the display device. The optical guiding structure corresponds to the one opening. The optical guiding structure includes a plurality of insulating structures each having a first surface adjacent to the non-transparent structure and side surfaces connected to the first surface. The reflective layer is disposed on the side surfaces. The ambient light entering via the second substrate is reflected by the reflective layer and exists via the opening.

Display device

A transparent display panel includes a substrate and a pixel array. The pixel array is formed on the substrate and includes a plurality of data lines and a plurality of scan lines. The data lines and the scan lines surround a plurality of pixel regions. Each pixel region defines a transparent region and an opaque region, wherein each transparent region occupies a relative position in the corresponding pixel region and at least three relative positions successively arranged along an axial direction are different.

Transparent display panel

A display including a plurality of display units and a plurality of holes is provided. Each of the display units includes a transparent area. Each of the holes is formed by a part of the transparent areas. At least one of the holes satisfies wherein A is an area of each of the holes and the S is a perimeter of each of the holes, and the at least one of the holes is a hole of a non-quadrilateral-type shape. These holes are arranged along a first direction in staggered arrangement, parts of projections of the holes along a second direction are overlapped with one another, and the first direction is different from the second direction.

Display

An electro-wetting display panel including an active device array substrate, a dielectric layer, a rib structure, an opposite substrate, a first fluid and a second fluid is provided. The active device array substrate includes a first substrate and a plurality of pixel structures. Each pixel structure includes a shielding electrode connected to a common potential, an active device located between the shielding electrode and the first substrate, and a pixel electrode electrically connected to the active device. The dielectric layer covers the pixel structures. The rib structure is disposed on the active device array substrate and has openings. The active device and the pixel electrode of each pixel structure are located within one of the openings. The first fluid is configured between the dielectric layer and the opposite substrate. The second fluid is configured between the dielectric layer and the first fluid.

Electrowetting display panel with high transparence

Electrowetting display devices are presented. The electrowetting display includes a first substrate and an opposing second substrate with a transparent polar fluid layer and an opaque non-polar fluid layer insoluble with each other and interposed between the first and second substrates. A first transparent electrode is disposed on the first substrate. A second transparent electrode is disposed on the second substrate. A dielectric layer is disposed on the second transparent electrode. A reflective plate structure is interposed between the second transparent electrode and the second substrate, thereby defining a reflective region and a transmission region. A backlight plate is disposed on the back of the second substrate. During operation, the opaque non-polar fluid converges, therefore, exposing equal areas of reflective region and transmission region.

Electrowetting display devices with a reflective plate structure

A display including a pixel array substrate, an opposite substrate and a fluid medium is provided. The pixel array substrate includes a first substrate including pixel regions and pixel structures disposed in the pixel regions. Each pixel region includes a distribution region of pixel electrode and a non-electrode region. A pixel electrode of the pixel structure is disposed in the distribution region of pixel electrode and has at least one slit extending from the non-electrode region toward the distribution region of pixel electrode. The opposite substrate includes a second substrate and a common electrode disposed on the second substrate and contacting a polar fluid. The fluid medium includes the polar fluid and a non-polar fluid and flows between the pixel array substrate and the opposite substrate. The non-polar fluid is contracted toward the non-electrode region when a voltage difference is generated between the pixel and the common electrodes.

A dual display is disclosed, including a first substrate and a second substrate comprising a plurality of pixels, wherein each pixel comprises a plurality of subpixels. The first substrate comprises a reflective region and a transmissive region for each subpixel, and a first color fluid is movable by an electric field on the reflective region and the transmissive region of a first subpixel, wherein when the first color fluid covers the transmissive region, the dual display provides a first viewing side at the first substrate side under a transmissive mode, and when the first color fluid covers the reflective region or covers the reflective region and the transmissive region, the dual display provides a second viewing side at the second substrate side under a reflective mode.

Dual display

An electrofluidic display device including a first structure layer and a second structure layer is provided. The first structure layer includes a first substrate. A trench structure layer is disposed on the first substrate and has a trench surrounding an indent groove of a second substrate. A first electrode layer is disposed on the first substrate. A first hydrophobic layer is disposed on the first electrode layer. The second structure layer having the second substrate is located aside the first substrate with a gap. A groove structure layer is disposed on the second substrate. The groove structure has the indent groove surrounded by the trench. A second electrode layer is disposed on the groove structure layer. A second hydrophobic layer is disposed on the second electrode layer. Polar fluid is disposed in the indent groove. Non-polar fluid is disposed in the gap between the first and second substrates.

Electrofluidic display device and driving method thereof

An electrowetting pixel structure includes a substrate, a hydrophobic dielectric layer, a non-polar liquid, a polar liquid, at least one electrode, and at least one contact hole. The hydrophobic dielectric layer is formed on the substrate, the non-polar liquid covers one surface of the hydrophobic dielectric layer, and the polar liquid is provided on the hydrophobic dielectric layer where the non-polar liquid and the polar liquid are immiscible. The electrode is formed on the substrate and divides the substrate into an electrode section and a non-electrode section. When a voltage is applied to the electrowetting pixel structure, the non-polar liquid contracts on the hydrophobic dielectric layer and is confined to an area substantially overlapping the non-electrode section. The contact hole is formed on the substrate at a position away from the non-electrode section of the electrowetting pixel structure.
