A method of establishing a paid connection between multi-platforms, where a transmitting end application is installed in a transmitting end apparatus of a sharing source and a receiving end application is installed in a receiving end apparatus of a sharing target. When establishing a connection, the transmitting end application/receiving end application confirms whether a unique ID of the receiving end apparatus/transmitting end apparatus exists in an exception list, and confirms whether the receiving end application/transmitting end apparatus makes payment based on an operating system used by the transmitting end apparatus/receiving end application, in order to determine establishing a limited or an unlimited connection between the transmitting end apparatus and the receiving end apparatus. Thus, the method assures that either the transmitting end application or the receiving end application is a paid version, a user complies with an application license agreement by using the exception list and the right of application developers is protected.

Method of establishing paid connection using screen mirroring application between multi-platforms

A power adapter including a first substrate, a second substrate, a transformer and an insulating frame is provided. The first substrate includes a first terminal set. The second substrate includes a second terminal set. The transformer includes a primary side connection terminal and a secondary side connection terminal, wherein the primary side connection terminal is connected to the first terminal set and the secondary side connection terminal is connected to the second terminal set. The insulating frame is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, and the transformer leans against the insulating frame.

A remote control method comprises: providing a receiving device electrically connected with a display device; the receiving device establishing wireless communication connections respectively with a mobile internet device and a computer; a user inputting a control instruction to the mobile internet device to transmit the control instruction to the receiving device therefrom; the receiving device forwarding the control instruction to the computer; and the computer responding to the control instruction and transmitting a screen frame to the receiving device for the display device to output the screen frame. The remote control method may simplify the operating procedures for switching computers and enhance the communication quality between the mobile internet device and the computer.

A method of establishing a charged connection using a screen sharing application between multi-platforms is disclosed. A transmitting end application is installed in a transmitting end apparatus of a sharing source. A receiving end application is installed in a receiving end apparatus of a sharing target. If the transmitting end application is a charged version, an unlimited connection is established for performing screen sharing between the transmitting end apparatus and any receiving end apparatus. If the transmitting end application is a free version, the method further confirms if the receiving end application is a charged version for deciding whether a limited connection or an unlimited connection should be established. Thus, it is assured that either the transmitting end application or the receiving end application is a charged version, the interests of application developers are protected and users are free from paying twice for establishing one connection.

Method of establishing charged connection using screen sharing application between multi- platforms

A remote audio-video sharing method and an application program for the same are provided. The method comprises a content provider device capturing screen frames and sounds of the content provider device. First encoding and second encoding are executed on the captured screen frames and sound to transmit to and play on a content displayer device and a content controller device. The content displayer device receives, decodes the data and smoothly plays the received data. The content controller device receives, decodes the data and plays the received data in synch with the content provider device. Additionally, a control command is generated by the content controller device to reply to the content provider device to manipulate operations of the content provider device.

An encoding method of screen frame and its application of electronic devices, which rapidly detect motion regions and motionless regions from lossless screen frames captured by software, and then encode the motion regions with lower image quality while encode motionless regions with higher quality to display higher quality images and smooth video at a receiving end in real-time. Furthermore, the above-mentioned encoding method is optimized for lossless screen frames which does not need complicated operations of video encoder of prior art, such as motion estimation, motion compensation, etc., so that the method can be implemented with minor system resources and lower latency delay.

The computer, further having a screen and a USB transmission port, is to transmit at least a presentation frame data to the screen for displaying respective presentation frame image. A method for converting a computerized briefing file to a PC-less briefing file is disclosed and comprises the steps of: presenting the computerized briefing file via a briefing software, wherein the computerized briefing file has a plurality of pages of briefing data; capturing the plurality of frames of the presented page of briefing data while presenting each page of briefing data, wherein if a difference block is existed between the last frame and the next frame, the difference block being stored in the PC-less file, otherwise, to presenting the next frame; judging whether the pagination of the presented frame is changed or not, if not, continuously capturing, comparing and storing the present page of briefing data, otherwise, capturing, comparing and storing the next page of briefing data; and such steps are not stopped until the last page of briefing data has being done.

A screen frame transmission system includes a receiving device and a transmitting device. The receiving device includes a display unit or an external display device for displaying a 2D bar code containing connection information. The transmitting device includes an image capturing unit for capturing an image of the 2D bar code. The transmitting device decodes the 2D bar code to obtain the connection information and establishes a communication connection with the receiving device therewith to transmit a screen frame, thereby simplifying operations of a user.

A pointing-control system for multipoint conferences includes a plurality of computers, a gateway, a display, a conference-control module and a pointing-control module. The computers are connected through a wired or wireless network with the gateway. The computer with the highest priority number is defined as the host computer having the right to assign any of the computers to be the report computer. The conference-control module can demonstrate a presentation frame of the report computer on the display through the gateway. The pointing-control module is used to capture pointing coordinates of pointing apparatuses of the respective computers, and further to display the pointing coordinates on the presentation frame of the display.

Pointing-control system for multipoint conferences

A system and a method for controlling a multipoint conference are provided by the present invention. The system comprises a plurality of computers, a presentation gateway, and a projector, wherein the computers are stored presentation frames. The method comprises the steps of connecting a first computer to the presentation gateway via a network; downloading a user list on the network from the presentation gateway; submitting a presentation-request signal to a second computer of the user list; and the first computer having a granted authority to access the presentation frames of the second computer while under the condition of the second computer granting the presentation-request signal, and the first computer transmitting the presentation frames of the second computer to the projector through the presentation gateway.
