A polarizer applied for a viewing side of a display is disclosed. The polarizer comprises a polarizing layer with an absorption axis, and a protective film disposed on the viewing side surface of the polarizing layer. The protective film includes a birefringent substrate adjacent to the polarizing layer having a birefringence difference not greater than 0.10 and having a slow axis and a fast axis perpendicular to each other, wherein the slow axis is parallel to the absorption axis of the polarizing layer, and an interference elimination layer disposed on a display side surface of the birefringent substrate, wherein the interference elimination layer has a diffusing layer disposed on the birefringent substrate, and a refractive-index-matching layer disposed on the diffusing layer, wherein with the total haze of the protective film is between 30% and 75% and the reflectivity of the protective film satisfies the relationship (R−R)≤1.0% and R/(R−R)≥1.6, wherein Ris an average reflectivity of diffuse component and specular component (specular component included, SCI) of the protective film, and Ris an average reflectivity of diffuse component (specular component excluded, SCE) of the protective film.

Polarizer

An optical film applied for a viewing side of a display is disclosed. The optical film comprises a birefringent substrate with a birefringence difference not greater than 0.10 having a slow axis and a fast axis perpendicular to each other and an diffusing layer disposed on the birefringent substrate, wherein the total haze of the optical film ranges between 30% and 80% and the reflectivity of the optical film satisfies the relationship (R−R)≤1.0%, and R/(R−R)≥1.6, wherein Ris an average reflectivity of diffuse component and specular component of the optical film, and Ris an average reflectivity of diffuse component of the optical film.

Optical film

A high-haze anti-glare film is disclosed. The high-haze anti-glare film comprises a transparent substrate and an anti-glare layer on the substrate. The anti-glare layer comprises acrylate binder resin and amorphous silica microparticles. The total haze (Ht) of the anti-glare film is more than 20%, and the total haze is the sum of the surface haze (Hs) and the inner haze (Hi) of the anti-glare film, and the inner haze (Hi) and the total haze (Ht) satisfy the relation 0.01<Hi/Ht<0.25. The present high-haze anti-glare film provides high anti-glare and anti-sparkling properties.

High-haze anti-glare film and high-haze anti-glare anti-reflection film

The present invention is to provide an anti-glare film. The anti-glare film comprises a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate and an anti-glare layer formed on a surface of the PET substrate, wherein the anti-glare coating layer comprises 75 to 90 weight parts of an acrylic-based resin, 0.01 to 10 weight parts of silica nanoparticles 5 to 20 weight parts of organic microparticles and 0.05 to 2 weight parts of leveling agent. The anti-glare film has a total haze ranging between 35% and 50%, a surface haze ranging between 10% and 15% and a gloss at a viewing angle of 60 degrees between 30% and 50% thereof. The anti-glare film can provide satisfactory anti-glare properties, high precision, surface fineness, no flicker, good visibility and also fine adhesion between layers.

Anti-glare film and polarizer with the same

An anti-glare film is disclosed. The anti-glare film comprises a transparent substrate and an anti-glare layer comprising an acrylic binder resin, a polyether-modified siloxane and a plurality of silica nanoparticles, wherein the silica nanoparticles are flocculated into a micro-floccule with an average secondary particle diameter of 1,500 nm to 3,100 nm. The present anti-glare film can provide a reliable anti-glare property with low haze and fine surface.

A high-haze anti-glare film is disclosed. The high-haze anti-glare film comprises a transparent substrate and an anti-glare layer on the substrate. The anti-glare layer comprises acrylate binder, amorphous silica microparticles and spherical organic polymer microparticles, wherein the spherical organic polymer microparticles are monodispersity and the average particle size thereof is smaller than that of the amorphous silica microparticles. The total haze (Ht) of the anti-glare film is more than 40%, and the total haze is the sum of the surface haze (Hs) and the inner haze (Hi) of the anti-glare film, and the inner haze (Hi) and the total haze (Ht) satisfy the relation 0.25&#x3c;Hi/Ht&#x3c;0.75. The present high-haze anti-glare film provides high anti-glare and anti-sparkling properties.

High-haze anti-glare film and high-haze antiglare anti-reflection film

The invention disclosed an anti-reflective film. The anti-reflective film comprises a substrate, a hard coating layer disposed on the substrate and a low refractive layer disposed on the hard coating layer. The low refractivity layer comprises a fluorine-containing acrylate-modified polysiloxane resin, a plurality of hollow silica nanoparticles, an initiator and a leveling agent comprising a perfluoropolyether group-containing (meth)acrylic-modified organosilicone compound. The reflectivity of the anti-reflective film of the anti-reflective film is less than 1.1%, and the water contact angle thereof is ranging between 90&#xb0; and 125&#xb0;.

This invention is to provide a hard coating film, comprising a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) base film and an antiglare hard coating layer formed thereon, wherein the antiglare hard coating layer comprises a (meth)acrylate composition, an initiator, a plurality of silica nanoparticles, a plurality of organic microparticles and a leveling agent. The (meth)acrylate composition comprises a urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer with a functionality of 6 to 15 and a molecular weight ranging between 1,000 and 4,500, and at least one (meth)acrylate monomer with a functionality of 3 to 6, and at least one (meth)acrylate monomer with functionality of less than 3.

The anti-glare film comprises a poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) base film and an anti-glare layer comprising an acrylic binder resin and organic microparticles, wherein the anti-glare layer comprises an miscible sub-layer adjacent to the interface between the anti-glare layer and the base film for urging the organic microparticles toward the upper portion of the anti-glare layer to form an anti-glare sub-layer with an uneven surface and wherein the average thickness of the miscible layer is at least 40 percent of the total thickness of the anti-glare layer and a ratio of the average thickness of the anti-glare sub-layer to the diameter of the microparticle is between 0.45 to 1.1.

A high hardness flexible hard coating film is disclosed. The high hardness flexible hard coating film comprises a substrate film and a hard coating layer. The hard coating layer comprises a (meth)acrylate binder and reactive silica nanoparticles, wherein the reactive silica nanoparticles comprise reactive (meth)acrylate modified silica nanoparticles and reactive (meth)acrylate-polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) modified silica nanoparticles. The present invention is to provide a hard coating layered optical film, comprising a poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) base film and a hard coating layer thereon. The hard coating layer comprises a (meth)acrylate composition and an initiator, wherein the (meth)acrylate composition comprises a urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer of functionalities from 6 to 15, at least one (meth)acrylate monomer of functionalities from 3 to 6 and at least one (meth)acrylate monomer of functionalities less than 3, wherein the molecular weight of the (meth)urethane acrylate oligomer of functionalities from 6 to 15 is ranging between 1,000 to 4,500. The hard coating layer of the hard coating layered optical film can be further coated with a functional layer, such as a low reflection layer to form an anti-reflection hard coating layered optical film. The hard coating layer can optionally comprise micro-particles to generate an anti-glare hard coating film. The anti-glare hard coating film can be further coated with a functional layer, such as a low reflection layer to form an anti-reflection anti-glare hard coating layered optical film.
