A hybrid body temperature measurement system and a hybrid body temperature measurement method are provided. In the method, position sensing data is obtained. The position sensing data includes an azimuth of one or more to-be-detected objects relative to a reference position. The position sensing data is mapped to a thermal image so as to generate a mapping result. The thermal image is formed in response to a temperature. A position of the to-be-detected object in the thermal image is determined according to the mapping result. Accordingly, the detection accuracy is improved.

Hybrid body temperature measurement system and method thereof

A thermal image positioning method for determining a heat source location of the thermal image is disclosed. The thermal image positioning method includes obtaining a temperature array corresponding to the thermal image and determining a region of interest (ROI) of the temperature array. The thermal image positioning method further includes determining an ROI center reference point of the ROI, determining a plurality of corner points corresponding to the ROI, and determining the heat source location according to at least one of the plurality of corner points. A thermal image positioning system is also disclosed herein.

A method, a computing device, and a system for monitoring postures are proposed. The method includes the following steps. An image sequence captured on a monitored area including a monitored subject is received. A first stable value corresponding to a first stage of stability of the monitored subject is detected, where the first stable value is associated with a position corresponding to a posture of the monitored subject remaining consecutively stable within a first predetermined time period. A second stable value corresponding to a second stage of stability of the monitored subject is detected, where the second stable value is associated with a position corresponding to a posture of the monitored subject remaining consecutively stable within a second predetermined time period. The first stable value and the second stable value are compared to accordingly determine whether a posture of the monitored subject has changed.

An optical touch apparatus and a width detecting method thereof are provided. The optical touch apparatus includes at least two sensing components, a light emitting component, and a width detecting module. The sensing components are configured to sense a touch object located on a touch plane. The light emitting component is configured to be a light source of the touch plane and is disposed adjacent to one of the sensing components. The width detecting module is coupled to the light emitting component and the other of the sensing components. The light emitting component is controlled by the width detecting module to emit a light. The other of the sensing components is controlled by the width detecting module to sense intensity of the light. The width detecting module detects a distance between the sensing components according to the sensed intensity of the light.

The optical touch apparatus has a touch area, and includes a light source module, at least one optical sensing module, and a processing unit. The light source module includes a plurality of light emitting elements, wherein each of the plurality of light emitting elements respectively provides a detecting beam to the touch area in different time periods. The processing unit is coupled to the light source module and the at least one optical sensing module. When each of the plurality of light emitting elements provides each of the detection beams, the processing unit controls the at least one optical sensing module to detect a corresponding predetermined region of interest according to the position of each of the detection beams and thereby output a sensing signal.

A video stream including a previous frame and a current frame is received, wherein the video stream is generated through photographing a space including a moving object by an image capturing device. A moving posture of the moving object determined according to the previous frame is obtained. Whether the moving posture of the moving object is a movement along a first direction or a movement along a second direction is determined. One of different tracking algorithms is selected for performing object tracking according to whether the moving posture of the moving object is the movement along the first direction or the movement along the second direction, to obtain an object feature region associated with the moving object in the current frame. The moving object in the space is tracked according to the object feature region.

A method, a system, and a computer-readable recording medium for image-based object tracking are provided. The method includes following steps. A video stream including a plurality of images is received. The video stream is generated through photographing an enclosed space by an image capturing device, and a moving range of a plurality of observed objects is limited to the enclosed space. A plurality of moving objects are detected from the video stream, and frames associated with each of the moving objects are generated for the images. The images include a current image and a previous image. By analyzing position projecting relationship between current frames in the current image and previous frames in the previous image, linking relationship between the current frames in the current image and the observed objects is established. The observed objects in the enclosed space are tracked according to the established linking relationship.

Method, system, and computer-readable recording medium for image-based object tracking

Methods for supplying, ordering, and transacting items based on motion images are proposed. The methods are applicable to a server and include the following steps. A first video stream is received from a first electronic device, and at least one item is identified from the first video stream to generate a frame and a tag associated with each item. An editing operation on a first tag is received from the first electronic device to generate first tag data. The first tag and the first frame are combined into the first video stream to generate a composite video stream. The composite video stream is transmitted to a second electronic device. In response to an ordering operation detected on the first item from the second electronic device, first ordering data is generated according to the first tag data to add the first item into an order list of the second electronic device.

An optical touch device and a sensing method thereof are provided. The optical touch device includes a plurality of optical sensors and a processing unit. The optical sensors are arranged around a touch plane and are spaced from each other. The two adjacent optical sensors located at one side of the touch plane are defined as one set of an optical sensing module, such that the optical sensors are paired to form multiple sets of the optical sensing modules. The processing unit generates a plurality of touch coordinates data corresponding to the plurality sets of the optical sensing modules according to the optical touch data, and determines whether the touch coordinates data corresponding to each set of the optical sensing modules is in at least one touch-excluded area corresponding to each set of the optical sensing modules, and respectively excludes the touch coordinates data in the touch-excluded area.

An optical touch apparatus configured to sense a touch operation of an optical touch stylus is provided. The optical touch apparatus includes a touch operation surface, an optical sensor and a touch controller. The optical touch stylus performs the touch operation on the touch operation surface. The optical sensor is disposed on a side of the touch operation surface and senses the light beam from the touch operation to obtain sensing data. The sensing data include an image of the optical touch stylus and a mirror image generated on the touch operation surface by the optical touch stylus. The touch controller is electrically connected to the optical sensor and calculates a brightness threshold according to the sensing data. The touch controller determines a position of the touch indicator point of the optical touch stylus on the touch operation surface according to the sensing data and the brightness threshold.

Optical touch apparatus, a method for determining a position of a touch indicator point and an optical touch system

A method for defining effective pixels in an image sensing array of a light-shading optical touch system is proposed. First, light-shading objects are disposed at three end points of a touch panel, and a shaded image is generated by an image sensing array. Light-shading object pixels corresponding to the light-shading objects are obtained from the shaded image thereafter. Next, the light-shading objects are removed from the touch panel, and a non-shaded image is generated by the image sensing array. Three pixel columns corresponding to the end points are obtained from the non-shaded image, and a pixel with maximum intensity is obtained from each of the three pixel columns. Interpolated pixels between the three brightest pixels are obtained through interpolation from the non-shaded image. Image sensing pixels corresponding to the three brightest pixels and the interpolated pixels in the image sensing array are defined as effective pixels.

A touch-sensing apparatus includes a signal-receiving module and a control unit. The signal-receiving module includes a mechanical wave-receiving unit and an electromagnetic wave-receiving unit. An optical-touch calibration method and an optical-touch panel are disclosed herein. The optical-touch calibration method is suitable for the optical-touch panel including a projective light source and a line optical sensor. The optical-touch calibration method includes steps of: generating a projective beam by the projective light source, and the projective beam being reflected to the line optical sensor; utilizing the line optical sensor to measure the reflected projective beam for obtaining a reflected intensity curve relative to a linear coordinate axis; calculating an intensity difference between the reflected intensity curve and a reference intensity curve; and, adjusting an emitting power of the projective light source if the intensity difference exceeds a threshold value.
