The driver circuit according to the invention includes a receiver module, a counter unit, isolation units and a voltage regulation unit. The receiver module receives an initiation signal and performs filtering using a low-pass filter to convert the initiation signal into a driving signal which is transmitted to the counter unit. Upon receiving the driving signal, the output terminals of the counter unit are sequentially activated to output a control signal. The isolation units may be diodes or transistors adapted to output an isolated control signal. The voltage regulation unit includes a plurality of resistors and is adapted to output a control voltage corresponding to one of the resistors according to the isolated control signal. The control voltage is useful in shifting the operation of an electrical device from one operation state to another.

Driver circuit

The present invention relates to a driver system, comprising a counter unit, a buffer unit and a voltage regulation unit. The counter unit is adapted to sequentially activate one of the first output terminals upon receiving a driver signal and then output a control signal according to the driver signal. The buffer unit is adapted to output an isolated control signal upon receiving the control signal from the counter unit. Upon receiving the isolated control signal, the voltage regulation unit outputs a control voltage which corresponds to a given resistor provided therein. The control voltage is useful in driving an electronic device, and the operation of the electronic device may be further adjusted by changing the control voltage from one level to another.

Driver system

The driver system according to the invention includes an infrared receiver module and a Johnson counter. The infrared receiver module receives an infrared signal and performs filtering using a low-pass filter to convert the infrared signal into a driving signal which is transmitted to the Johnson counter. Upon receiving the driving signal, the output terminals of the Johnson counter are sequentially activated to output a control signal for shifting the operation of an electrical device from one operation state to another.

An ambient light adjustment (ALA) apparatus, a method and a system therewith are proposed. The ALA apparatus includes a main body having a plurality of edges, one or more light sources, a light blocking layer and a controller. The light source is mounted on at least one edge of the ALA apparatus. The main body comprises at least one light guide plate. The light blocking layer is disposed over a surface of the main body. The controller is coupled to the light source and the light blocking layer. The ALA apparatus further comprises at least one sensor coupled to the controller. The controller controls the light characteristics of the light source and/or the light blockage levels of the light blocking layer to adjust ambient light characteristics, according to a sensed result by the sensor or sensors.

Ambient light adjustment apparatus, method and system

A hybrid multiplexed 3D display including a light source, an image splitter, and an image display is provided. The light source is used for sequentially providing a plurality of groups of light emitting toward different emitting directions. The image splitter is disposed above the light source for imaging each of the groups of light at a view group comprising a plurality of views. The image display is disposed above the light source for providing image data. The groups of light are sequentially transmitted through the image display and the image splitter to respectively generate a plurality of view images at the views such that an image viewed by a user includes at least two of the view images to achieve a stereoscopic visual effect.

Hybrid multiplexed 3D display and displaying method thereof

A head mount personal computer (HMPC) and an interactive system using the same are provided. The provided HMPC includes a microprocessing unit, an output unit and an image capture unit with a distance detection function (ICWDD). The microprocessing unit is served as an operation core of the HMPC. The output unit is coupled to and controlled by the microprocessing unit, and configured to project an optical image onto a space. The ICWDD is coupled to and controlled by the microprocessing unit, and configured to capture operation gestures on the projected optical image from a user wearing the HMPC, such that the microprocessing unit correspondingly controls operations of the HMPC in response to the operation gestures on the projected optical image from the user.

Head mount personal computer and interactive system using the same

A stereo-image displaying apparatus includes a light-source module and an image displaying device. The light-source module has at least one light-emitting block. A light-source driving unit is coupled with the light-source module and the image displaying device. The light-emitting block is driven by the light-source driving unit to synchronously emit a light according to a displaying frequency of the image displaying device with a reduced light-emitting duty cycle. The cross-talk between stereo images is reduced by using the light emitted from the light-source module, synchronously associating with the image displaying device.

Stereo-image displaying apparatus and method for reducing stereo-image cross-talk

A measurement method and a measurement device are disclosed. The measurement method is adapted to a 3D display capable of producing a plurality of viewing zones, which includes following steps. At least a part of a display area of the 3D display displays an image of one of the viewing zones. Light radiation amounts of a first position of the 3D display are detected with a light detector from different viewing angles. A viewing angle with a local maximum light radiation amount is taken as a reference viewing angle, a distance between the light detector and the 3D display along the reference viewing angle is changed, and light radiation amounts of a plurality of different second positions of the 3D display are detected in different distances. A distance at which light radiation amounts of the second positions are most uniform is taken as the optimal viewing distance.

Measurement method and measurement device

A hybrid multiplexed 3D display and a displaying method thereof. The hybrid multiplexed 3D display includes an image display, a light source and an image splitter. The image display generates a view image. The light source sequentially generates light of multiple colors transmitted through the image display. The image splitter disposed above or below the image display causes image data, which is generated after the light is transmitted through the image display, to emit toward two or more than two view directions. Thus, the image viewed by a user has at least two views to achieve a stereoscopic visual effect.

A stereo-image displaying apparatus including an adjustable light source module, a spatial modulator, and an image display panel is provided. The adjustable light source module is adapted for emitting a plurality of first illumination beams and a plurality of second illumination beams that are staggered along a first axis. The spatial modulator and the image display panel are sequentially disposed on the light path of the first and second illumination beams. The first illumination beam passes through the spatial modulator so that the image display panel displays a first view field image in a first frame period. The second illumination beam passes through the spatial modulator so that the image display panel displays a second view field image in a second frame period. Moreover, a method for reducing stereo-image cross-talk is also provided.

A system for manufacturing a micro-retarder and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The system for manufacturing a micro-retarder includes a carrying device, a heating device and a movement control device. The carrying device is used for carrying a polymolecule film. The polymolecule film is selected from a polymolecule film having an arrangement direction. The heating device is used for providing a heating source. The energy formed in the central area of the heating source is smaller than that in the peripheral area of the heating source. The movement control device is used for controlling the heating source and the polymolecule film to relatively move along a first direction, so that the adjusted heating source heats at least one partial area of the polymolecule film along the first direction and resumes the partial area of the polymolecule film to be non-directional.

System for manufacturing micro-retarder and method for manufacturing the same

An autostereoscopic display apparatus includes multiple micro-display devices for exporting an 3-dimensional image. Each of the micro-display devices produces a portion image of the image. The portion image has multiple viewing-zone portion images with respect to multiple viewing zones. An image guiding unit has multiple micro-image output terminals, which are arranged according to an array sequence being set, so as to guide the output images from the micro-display devices. A stereo-image discrete screen is coupled with the image guiding unit, so that the image can transit the stereo-image discrete screen through multiple column transparent regions for producing multiple viewing-zone images of the image with respect to the different viewing zones. The image guiding unit can be, for example, an optical fiber array unit or an array-type light guiding unit.

Autostereoscopic display apparatus

An autostereoscopic projection screen with projection displays a stereoscopic image for receiving parallax images of right eye and left eye. The autostereoscopic projection screen includes a polarization-reserved diffuser, a microretarder, a polarizer, and a parallax element. Parallax images of right eye and left eye pass through the polarization-reserved diffuser and the microretarder for transferring their polarization states. Parallax images of right eye and left eye with specific polarization states will pass the polarizer and parallax element for dividing images of right eye and left eye from parallax images. The individual images separately enter viewing zones of right eye and left eye to generate the stereoscopic-image for viewers.

Autostereoscopic projection screen

An ejector with multi-ejection pins is used in the post-processes of the semiconductor industry and is used by a selection device to choose a predetermined quantity of ejection pins. When a propelling device lifts the selection device, a pin-base vertical driver controls the vertical motion of a pin base, and a pin-base motion device controls the planar motion of the pin base; the chosen ejection pins can be lifted to elevate the respective dies for separation from adhesive film.
