A color filter substrate including a substrate, a light shading structure, and a plurality of color filter units is provided. The substrate has a display region and a non-display region. The light shading structure disposed on the substrate includes a black matrix layer and a light shading layer, wherein the black matrix layer is disposed on the substrate and defines a plurality of sub-pixel regions in the display region, and covers the non-display region adjacent to the edge of the display region; the light shading layer is disposed on the black matrix layer of the non-display region adjacent to the edge of the display region and has at least one channel. The color filter units are correspondingly disposed in the sub-pixel regions.

A manufacturing method of a color filter substrate is provided. In the method, a substrate is provided. A first color layer, a second color layer, and a third color layer are then sequentially formed on the substrate. At least any two of the first color layer, the second color layer, and the third color layer are partially overlapped to form a number of supporters. Next, a common electrode layer is formed on the substrate to cover the first color layer, the second color layer, the third color layer, and the supporters. A light-shielding layer is then formed on the common electrode layer, and a portion of the light-shielding layer is disposed over the supporters. Based on the manufacturing method of the color filter substrate, fewer masks are required.

Color filter substrate and manufacturing method thereof and liquid crystal display panel

A light shading structure suitable for being disposed on a substrate is provided, wherein the substrate has a display region and a non-display region. The light shading structure includes a black matrix layer and a light shading layer. The black matrix layer is disposed on the substrate and defines multiple sub-pixel regions in the display region. The black matrix layer also covers the non-display region adjacent to the edge of the display region. The light shading layer is disposed on the black matrix layer in the non-display region adjacent to the edge of the display region and has at least one channel. The light shading structure can reduce light leakage at the edge of the display region of the LCD panel. During processes of manufacturing the LCD panel, the liquid crystal contamination caused by the contact of liquid crystal and sealant can be avoided by the light shading structure.

A method for manufacturing a display substrate is disclosed, which includes the following steps: providing a substrate; forming a plurality of bumps on an active area of the substrate and at least one marking pattern on a non-active area of the substrate; and staining the marking pattern or filling a material having low transmittance ratio into the marking pattern. The present invention further discloses a method for making a display substrate, including the steps: providing a substrate; forming a shadow layer on a non-active area of the substrate; forming a plurality of bumps on an active area of the substrate and at least one marking pattern on the shadow layer of the non-active area on the substrate; and removing a part of the shadow layer not covered by the marking pattern.

Method for manufacturing display substrate

A cathode for use in an electron gun includes a base metal comprising Ni as a principal component and a two-layer electron emissive material disposed on the base metal. The inner layer is comprised of an alkaline earth metal oxide and 1-30 wt. % W and may further include 0.1-5 wt. % of a rare earth metal oxide. The outer layer is comprised of an alkaline earth metal oxide and may further include 0.1-5 wt. % of a rare earth metal oxide. The outer electron emissive layer provides stability for the cathode. In the degassing and activation process, W and Ni react at high temperatures to form a Ni W fine crystal structure. An intermediate layer, such as Ba SiO , is dispersed in the Ni W fine crystal structure in operation. Free barium is produced in reactions between the various cathode components to provide a high current density for the cathode. The normalized electron emission current value of the cathode does not decrease with use, even over extended periods of operation. While W has heretofore been used as a reducing agent in impregnating cathodes as well as in the base metal, it has not heretofore been used in an outer layer of a cathode.
